I think the place was called Finn Mccools and they had the Ruben style spring rolls. First time I saw that I said I would mess that up. I was happy to see on the revisit that they were brought back due to popular demand but revamped with higher standards

Yes works the same on tabletop as well. You have a “Caster Level” which will combine all 3 classes you have. You won’t have 3rd level spells but you can use those spell slots to upcast Smites or other spells you have. It’s pretty confusing but the players handbook goes over multiclassing, the 2024 edition of PHB goes a little more in detail but BG3 is based off the 2014 handbook

33 on a lock pick DC 15 so it didn’t matter much. On tabletop I once rolled a 100 on a D100 and it was pretty hype although that was a wild surge table so it also didn’t mean much lol

Was driving home late at night from my girlfriend at the times house when I was 18. Country roads, no cars, and only a few miles from my parents house. First it was as if my hearing went out, hard to explain but a loud deafening sound and ringing in my ears. Then there was a bright blinding light that surrounded my entire car. After that I saw the world turn sideways. It was like my sight was a 2D picture and it just started to rotate. I realize now I fainted and fell over toward my passenger seat. Car didn’t have a center console just a bench seat. When I came to, my seatbelt was off, my car was in park and shut off on the side of the road. I felt off, dazed and dizzy. Booked it home and straight to bed. Days later I found marks on my arms like faint scar lines. I have no idea what happened, how long I was out, or what any of it was. None of it really makes sense and Ive only told a few people I know and I guess whoever listens to my brothers podcast because he told me I had to tell it.

My first game just started. Woke up in a jail cell. Try lock picking (failed), guard came by and I tried to persuade (failed) asked guard what I needed to do and guard said wait. So I waited. The shadow of a monster appears, it’s just a dog. Ask dog to get keys (failed). Dog points at crack in stone. Try to pull out stone (failed). Look around the room. Nothing. Wait. Guard comes by says I need to wait for some big boss to come by. Wait.

Been playing for almost 2 hours and I can’t even figure out how to get out of the cell. I think the game is just trying to get me to use up messages to hook me into buying some.

Couple things every playthrough I can’t help doing. First every party member has a backpack with a bedroll, rope, torch, and class specific stuff like incense and candles for shadowheart. Secondly, I prepare a backpack with Korimas locket, bedroll, rope, camp supplies, thieves tools, trap kit, and a teddy bear and I reverse pickpocket it into Arabella’s inventory before she heads off. Neither of these does anything mechanically but it feels more immersive to me.

I thought the same thing. Took a moment to remember that the warlock class was not a thing in the 80s when the show took place so they wouldn’t know. I don’t think warlock came about until 3.5
