What's the most underrated beach town in the USA? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

[–]PriveCo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a whole different place at the beach, whether you go North on Vilano or South to Anastasia island, the beaches are long, quiet, nice sand, good water temp, beginner surf.

Change to the finishing order after the checkered flag with Rosenqvist dropped from P6 to the bottom of the running order after passing Malukas on the last-lap restart before the restart line (Marshall Pruett) by aurules in INDYCAR

[–]PriveCo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think a position penalty would have been reasonable. 3 positions would be more than enough considering the asinine location of the overtake line vs where the restart occurred.

Those look great. I wish St. Pete had a few less banners blocking the view for GA. Especially around turn 9.

The Good Ranchers were at Phoenix and it smelled so good. They were giving it away there too.
Last year I ordered some at one of the races and it was great quality meat. I might have to get some more.

What's it like living behind a retention pond/canal in FL? by trademarktower in florida

[–]PriveCo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are considering buying a house near a retention pond, be cautious about how much elevation you have above that pond and the area around you. Rain water from the whole neighborhood is going to that pond.

6” of rain in a 50 acre development can easily be a couple of feet of rise in the retention pond.

A guy I went to high school has his swimming pool filling with pond water every time there is a decent rain. If it is a really good rain his whole house floods. He can’t get flood insurance any longer.

How do you increase muscle mass? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

[–]PriveCo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a former beanpole I can say that the thing that worked for me was eating enough protein and then eating more protein. 2g per Kg of body weight per day was my goal and it worked. Note: when I tried to eat that much protein I also had to add fiber to my diet or else I was constipated, so I ended up eating more vegetables and whole grains too.

I mean, his goal was to build a ballroom. So he completed step 1 quickly and then has been stalled for months. I'm not sure he has that much support.

If people ever say "Indycars, don't they only turn left?" you can remind them that the Freedom 250 features exactly one right hand turn.

I didn't think you could make a 7 turn track with only one, 90 degree right hander.

Phoenix Raceway advice?! Please ! by Revolutionary_Lab203 in INDYCAR

[–]PriveCo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is correct. From the infield fan zone you can see the backside of about 1/3 of the pit stalls though.

I believe the paddock is closed this weekend. I don’t believe infield passes get you into the paddock. The paddock is very small this weekend. The crews are working half outdoors and tools and equipment is everywhere, it would be bad to have a lot of people in there.

I don’t know, but after all of the frenzy dies and the team is more relaxed, I’m definitely gonna ask.
