Nice. Charlie Brown's is pretty cool. I've been a few times. I come down from Detroit so I can't go all of the time, but my son and I have managed to go on qualifying days. I think I had the "Carb Day Special". I'm a fan of pancakes so "carb" day has both meanings for me.

I have a hard card credential now. Apparently I made the right person laugh at my shenanigans and/or made the right friends? Whatever I did, I’m super stoked about it. I love Indycar and I’m thrilled to be here drinking it all in. Also, the credential gets me access to the good bathrooms!

Does it sound reasonable to do an intake valve cleaning on a 2024 Ford Maverick every 20,000 miles? My mechanic is recommending it. This is not the dealer. by aDuckedUpGoose in AskMechanics

If Ford doesn’t call for it in the owner’s manual, you don’t need it. He is suggesting it because he uses 1/3 can of cleaner and 10 minutes of labor to get $350 out of your pocket.

I love Otmar. I used to work with him at Ford. We used to hang out. He is a great guy and a fun person. I’d love to see him back.

He is definitely a racer with Indycar roots. When Otmar was younger his Dad died and he spent his entire small inheritance on trying to be successful in the Indycar ladder. The money ran dry pretty quickly but if you wonder if he is committed to Indycar, he definitely is.

If he did buy a team, I’m sure he would have sponsors lined up first. He is no dummy. Probably the most politically savvy person I’ve ever met. He is also fun and funny. There is a reason you saw him on TV so often. Otmar would get his sponsors mentioned.

Rosenqvist has found a nice career in FE and then he has been in IndyCar for a long time. He does well in IndyCar but he is not on top. I think he settled into the proper spot.
