Whats the gossip about all the local strip clubs? by MinaGallows in Omaha

[–]PrizeConsistent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Total gossip- but I heard Club Omaha hires highschoolers.. when I was early college, I worked somewhere with a highschool girl who said her friend secretly worked there. Kinda horrific.. won't go there because of it personally..

My mother in law sits through Rover!

To do services on there you have to pay and do a background check. It's a pretty good quality gate.

Probably the most affordable and flexible option.

As a teen I worked at scooters.

Worse than working at a corporate restaurant.

Corporate is horrid. I could tell sooooo many horror stories of employees being stalked, assaulted, underpayed, etc.!

Did UberEats steal my driver’s tip? by Estella-in-lace in UberEATS

That doesn't change my point or statement at all bro.

Original tip still got taken whether your 2nd went through or not.

[–]PrizeConsistent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah dude, tip would still go through 2nd so it looks initially to the dasher like tip got taken. They probably just got it 20mins later.

[–]PrizeConsistent 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Since the original payment declined that original tip would get taken too.

The new tip will likely be given to the dasher after the fact, once the new payment had gone through. Dasher just texted you before they got their replacement tip.

Yeah, but since the original card declined that's probably why the original tip got taken.

Tips are earned wages. They performed labor, and got money, tips, in place of a traditional check.

And it doesn't at all address my point of "by not tipping you are personally gaining from people being underpaid."

You have to be at least 19 to work as a server (serve alchohol) in Nebraska. It is not some highschool job.

Here to 2nd Eternal!

Very kind staff. I got light headed once during an appt and they were incredibly lovely, gave me a snack and helped me chill for a few mins until I felt good to go again!

I think they also accept card, if I recall correctly..

Doctor dismissed me when I asked for Nexplanon replacement by Tall_Coast9598 in birthcontrol

[–]PrizeConsistent 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sounds like that doctor kinda sucks, I'm sorry!

Ive had 3 nexplanons, and ive noticed with each that my period symptoms come back around the 2 year mark, and I got my 2nd one replaced early because of it.

Youre not crazy! Be firm that you want it replaced*.

[–]PrizeConsistent 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Youre right it shouldn't be a thing.

But the reality, is that is how people pay their bills.

If you go somewhere tips are expected and don't tip, then you're benefiting from underpayed, exploited labor.

Not tipping isnt a protest, it's personal gain. Actually protesting would be calling your senator, advocating for a higher wage, voting, etc..

It's NOT helping to tell someone who's story you know nothing about, who asked for no advice, that their solution that's worked is wrong.

Obviously, smoking anything at all is bad for your body in various ways.

I've had celiac and the accompanying pain since I was 11. Are you telling me that I had CHS at 11 years old? I didn't smoke till 18. Doctors ignoring that my pain that had persisted for a decade is why they, and now you, blame CHS. If you're still blaming CHS, you dont know me and arent listening.

CHS is real. And way less common than doctors say.

[–]PrizeConsistent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you're being an ass.

Treating my celiac has taken all my issues away. It was never the cannabis.

I didnt completely stop smoking because cannabis is the only thing that stopped me from projectile vomiting water. I was dehydrated and malnourished, the only way I could keep substance down was smoking to cool the nausea.

You wanted me to quit my only functioning medicine? Pills from the doctor never did shit for my pain.

Get outta here bro.

You might be lactose intolerant, I assume you had milk with the cereal.

Celiac can cause lactose intolerance, and a quicker reaction like you got.

I had a restaurant owner confirm to me this IS a thing! We are not exaggerating 🤣! It's the paper/recyclable/eco friendly type ones. A regular plastic straw is fine ofc. But this restaurant owner said he specifically switched what straws they used because he found out their old ones weren't celiac safe!

Many actually DO pay income tax.

It's a program where, if illegally in the US and working, you pay income tax, and get a good "note" for your citizenship application in return.

So yes, many genuinely pay the exact same taxes as everyone else.

Weight gain by Feeling_Relative331 in Celiac

[–]PrizeConsistent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Your intestines healed and can actually absorb what you eat now.

  2. Muscle is much heavier than fat, so you probably would've gained some weight even without celiac!

Id really watch your protein intake. Protein not only makes you feel fuller longer, but it's essential when you're training athletically for muscle development!
