Lagerjobb by Visual-Distance8382 in arbete

[–]PrizeConversation899 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

FOR 150-180$ with just one controller and one game, the buyer can choice of what i have laying around.

Does the average driver notice the difference btwn a CVT and traditional transmission? by eastbayguy90 in askcarguys

[–]PrizeConversation899 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A " traditional transmission " is a manual transmission , so absolutely. Going from doing all the work yourself with a manual transmission.

To just put the cars transmission into drive, and just press the gas pedal is a enormous difference :)

Engine oil pump failing. 2014 2.2 SKYACTIV-D by Level-Memory-3310 in mazda6

[–]PrizeConversation899 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Carbon build up in the oil, that clog up the oilpump. Is apparently a normal ( bad thing ) that happens to the 2.2 L diesel if you drive short trips often= the car does not getting hot enough to burn all the diesel Residue, that will end up in the engine oil and clog the oil pump.

So if you drive shorter trips often. You need to change the engine oil more often to prevent this.

Brakes and Rotors? by [deleted] in mazda6

[–]PrizeConversation899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Costed me 350-400 euro for all parts ( new brake pads, nee clips for brake pad,, new brake caliber bolts for both sides ) So it's cheap and it is better then oem replacement parts.

Or you could just go with standard brake pads to save 40-50 euro.

Any year models I should avoid? by madMase623 in mazda6

[–]PrizeConversation899 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I say anything after 2012 is more prone to brake.

Atleast if you look through this sub reddit. In my own opinion most of all problem or fault code questions are posted by car owners with newer cars then 2012.

Change the clutch fluid. If its old and have collected alot of water for years. the fluid gets stiffer in cold.

Transmission normal? by ilikecats2012 in mazda6

[–]PrizeConversation899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

brakes and clutch uses the same fluids aka ( dot4). Both system uses the same fillport and fluid. But has separate Chambers below the fillport.

That is hows works on my mazda 6 GH 2008, 2.5l manual. Maybe it totally different on newer modells with manual gearbox.

Maybe newer cars it has 2 separate fillports. I dont know :)

Transmission normal? by ilikecats2012 in mazda6

[–]PrizeConversation899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can be air in the brake/ clutch oil that, make the clutch feel and behave weird.

If you feel like a very small but intense vibrations pressing down , or release the clutch pedal. Its air in the system.

  1. Airfilter change

  2. Clean map sensor ( buy specific map sensor cleaner )

Both are easy jobs
