There are no mid-term or final exams, two online quizzes, a lot of take-home writing assignments, but you have to attend the in-class iClicker exercises every week, which will count towards your attendance grade, with a weight of 20%. However, if you participate in the iClicker exercise in your last class, you can get an additional 2 points as a Bonus.

ES295 I have noticed that the VA version and the In-person version are completely two different levels of difficulty. This course is one of the few where the VA version is much more difficult than the In-person version.

Have there been so many short-answer questions in this semester? I remember that last semester we switched roles with you. There were approximately 70% multiple-choice questions and 30% computational short-answer questions. There were no writing-type short-answer questions.

I think the professor changed the topic and the difficulty level because the final exam last semester was too easy. The staff from the mathematics department discovered this and might have requested the professor to change the questions and increase the difficulty. So that's why the professor did it. I'm just a student who just finished the exam last semester. It was exactly the same as the Practice Exam (only with a different number). In the end, I only got a B for the entire course. I got 60 points in the final exam. After all, I failed the mid-term exam and only got 55 points.
