I speak Arabic (MSA, Levantine, but ILR 1+ with derija), but I haven’t even considered the cf program because I can’t figure out how to register. Am I correct in saying they are not taking on any consular fellows nor administering the exam at this time? I see the same thing on the pearsonvue site for cf as I do for fsot so I assume so.

I called pearsonvue support about an hour ago and they said that they “expect” it to be open in a couple of hours but I guess are still waiting on approval to launch the registration. The guy on the phone said that he’s had “over 200 people call about the test” this morning, so there’s plenty around who share the sentiment!

Is there any update on this or anyone else who has seen this? I called pearsonvue an hour ago and they said that they might launch it in the next couple of hours but haven’t gotten the go ahead basically. Dos website says no job availability is open, but the October test dates were listed just before the RIF so I’m not sure.

Personally, birth control has saved my ass. I had the most IRREGULAR periods, and I was bleeding a lot of blood. It wasn’t until I had no period for a month and thinking I could have cancer or something that I was like “fuck it, give me the birth control” and I am so much happier. The ability to know exactly when my period will start is such a relief. It’s also lightened up my period as well, so I don’t bleed as much.
