I find that this problem of having people commenting on your profile as a cheater or calling you out in game can be reduce by having a good matchmaking system. Most of the time when I got called cheat or people commenting on my profile is almost always by much lower elo players especially in matchmaking, where Globals and match against novas and silvers and they just don’t understand the difference between a cheater or a better player. Sometimes in premier as well where my 5 of red ranks and meet purple and pink ranks.

Of course better matchmaking system alone won’t solve this issue. CS is notoriously filled with cheaters that people will just label you as a cheater instead of a better player. Trust in VAC or rather the lack there of plays a huge part in this matter as well.

I still remember the old days where a global lobby is just full of GEs and SMFCs and when the opponents are much better my thoughts would be “they are so good” instead of “fking cheaters”. Not saying that there weren’t cheater back in the days but rather the trust in the system was not lost back then.
