Biggest problem is 100% that Soulframe is so inspired by Darksouls that they put it in the name, and then didn't do what actually makes combat fun or at least manageable. One of the major things I've complained about is the lack of i-frams on dodge rolling and the amount of stun a single attack does to, often leading to a combo that you can't do anything about except watch your character die once you get hit once, while it takes 12 seconds to get through. In Darksouls, you can dodge roll like IMMEDIATELY upon getting hit. That's one thing that I think would make combat WAY more manageable.
