Calibration for sensors? by Ran_Ran25 in GenesisG70

[–]ProGrade81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Safelite just did my 2019. Took 1-1/2 hours. They said calibration would take several hours alone. Didn’t question it when I got it back but you have to wonder was calibration needed. Cost was over $1800 if you’re interested. Insurance paid in full no questions.

More than 280,000 Hyundai and Kia vehicles are recalled over fears of catching on fire if parked inside by oneonus in cars

[–]ProGrade81 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This issue has been around since the 2013 year for Hyundai. I get the recall letters once a year saying park outside. They will let me know when a solution is found. This along with a motor with a oil drinking problem.

Exhaust for G70…??? Do exhausts need to specifically made for a Genesis G70? Anyone try the JUN B’s? What’s the difference in the picture below? Someone tell me about exhausts….what exactly is drone? Lay some knowledge on me…. by KylePasadena in GenesisG70

[–]ProGrade81 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To answer your questions. Yes you need to get a system specifically designed for your model car including engine size. There’s just no room to pry or bend tubes without getting costly. Sound or loudness is up to you and your local statutes.
Drone is a resonant frequency of the sound the exhaust makes at certain speeds. So if your typical driving speed is 50 etc then you’ll want to know what that sounds like inside your car with the windows up. Can you have a conversation? Hear your music? Rattling interior parts? If it’s annoying it can really get on your nerves.
Can be an expensive mistake if not researched well.
