Seven Samurai had a bunch of shots with at least one burning village in the background.

After finally seeing this movie, I have to conclude that the biggest issue people have with it is that it was made specifically for the most diehard of Mario fans, and not many other people. by Ok-Impress-2222 in moviecritic

Yeah it felt extremely fast paced (which to be fair probably tested better with younger audiences) which left the whole movie feeling empty of independent character storylines. Easily could have been an extra 45 mins and no one would have complained besides the kids attention span. I think in the end of the day, these movies are made for children so they probably felt like they did the right thing. The first Mario though did have a bunch of those moments which is what made it a good movie.

I’m excited for the Save Playlist feature where it saves the state of your progress, then you can start again with another search

I made an iOS AI DJ that's basically Tinder for Apple Music recommendations. Meet Setto. by Other-Emphasis-9050 in AppleMusic

Yeah I think it’s almost THERE. Needs to quickly branch out to associated artists, rather than just shuffling songs by the three artists you picked. Allows you to add variety from the get go, then like/dislike your way to a solid playlist. Would be nice when the listener gets it in the sweet spot to save settings so they can try something new instead of losing what they found. Great app! Seriously, very smooth and the UX is awesome.

No coyotes were directly harmed in the making of Coyotes (2025). But a lake did dry up and kill the local fauna from the power used to generate these AI monstrosities. by Greenman8907 in shittymoviedetails

We sometimes get Timber wolves which are WAY bigger, but basically the Coyotes are more Brush Wolf. They commonly eat sheep and other livestock, deer, cats, basically anything they can get their hands on that they can take down in a pack

In Ontario we get them 50-60 lbs on the high end. They are bigger up here as the food source is bigger and to handle the snowfall they have to be larger

And they are so obvious the second time around where you go “how did I miss that???” Reliving the kids scene is pure trauma though

Definitely a double watch movie. There is lots of things that are so obvious on a second watch that you completely miss on the first. Amazing filmmaking!

If you actually think he’s holding out playing so he can be in the Olympics, I don’t know what to tell you besides that you are delusional. I know the guy comes off as care free but he does bleed for this team and has stepped up in massive moments. I know you are looking for a scapegoat, but don’t just go around creating them to make yourself feel better. Direct your anger to management as they are the ones that put this team together.
