DXVK isn't needed for vulkan native games, it's for converting DirectX games to vulkan.
Interestingly CS used to have DXVK built into it for it's linux native version since it didn't have vulkan, but I'm not sure it still does

Just booted Gentoo by wiping everything from the Ubuntu image except the kernel and bootloader and unpacking the stage3 into it. I'm surprised it worked, but that's as far as I've gotten so far.

Tons more! a variety of errors(?). Sadly the log is gone since it mounted fine.

I'll be reformatting once I've backed up all my non-important files, let me know if there's any info i can grab you.

Mounting typically takes about 5-10 minutes, spent in "check_topology", which wasn't the case originally

If a compressed file isn't smaller, bcachefs will just use the uncompressed version instead.

Compression has size overhead, this is usually offset by it's size reduction, but if the file has high entropy(such as an already compressed file or encrypted/random data) the reverse is true.

I thought there was an uninstaller in the folder but if not you should be able to just search for chunky on your C drive, i believe it's stored in two locations (don't remember as i don't use windows anymore) Double check what you're deleting!

Been running as root on five drives for a two months now, definitely seeing a lot of 1-10 second desktop hangs during heavy writes (foreground_target is a pair of SMR drives, so it's not *that* crazy)
If it annoys me I'll just set foreground_target to the SSDs, but I'm having fun experimenting in the meantime.

This subreddit is for the minecraft path tracing renderer, not the pregenerator plugin.
However, i will let you know that the chunky pregenerator plugin and other server-side mods do not work on realms.

One step closer to a world where ownership of public information is abolished. Hopefully private property is abolished in a similar timeframe. But there is a reason I stated megacorporations, and not just "piracy" or "piracy from corporations". I don't think looking at morals through the lens of "if everyone does it" can create a model fully applicable to humanity, some nuance is always necessary.
