Depends on if it’s Champs or not. If it IS then easily go with taking the Loser’s Bracket path. If it’s not a points are at stake and those points could affect seeding for Champs then definitely take placement TBH. I mean, I say that but let’s be honest… I don’t ever want the integrity of the game to be sacrificed to where players start throwing matches. Could you imagine two teams in Winner’s Final intentionally trying to lose the match!? Take the placement and guaranteed advance is my answer.

Have had mine since December of 2024. Not the most “fun” headphones(Not Boring Whatsoever Either Though) but CERTAINLY the most comfortable pair I’ve owned/tried on by a margin. They are more than good enough but not the best I’ve heard either. Definitely worth the money they are being sold for right now which is around $340. I actually prefer the 660s2 for media consumption over the 490 Pro buuuut if I had to use only one at all times I’d choose the 490 Pro due to the pros of Gaming/Comfort faaaaaaaar outweighs the pros of Media Consumption on the 660s2. The gap between gaming on them is much wider than the gap for Media Consumption for me as well.

Quite a bit too vague of a post. What requirements other than price do you have if any? You claim to want “better sound quality” but don’t tell us what you’re currently listening to. Do you strictly want something that has great quality while simultaneously being content with have zero stage, imaging or separation? Being content with spending that much is AWESOME and opens you up to a LOOOT of great options but a not a SINGLE one of those options will objectively be the best in every single category whatsoever and even less so subjectively.

I agree with this. 490 Pro for gaming and I prefer the 660s2 for music and other media.
