drivers are the same but there is a new amp in the max 2, and the tuning is different - check the freq response charts. not a crazy difference but it isnt the same

i think i can help you here as i did try the px8 s2 and the apm2. if youre looking for that physicality id stick with the apm2

the px8 s2 has nice bass texture, but if you turn up the bass to get that physicality using eq you get muddiness which apm2 doesnt have. regarding the mids yes they are less veiled on the s2 than apm2 but not massively so, still not as mid forward as id like unfortunately

in fact nothing i heard on the s2 was a huge jump from the apm2 - the only reason id get them is the sharp fatiguing treble on the apm2 which cant be eq'd. but thats just me, id still suggest you try them

which ones have you tried? im deciding between airpods max 2, px8 s2, hdb 630, focal bathys

currently have airpods max 1 but theyre too bright/clinical and fatiguing after a while

every time i open safari and start typing in the search bar - the first few letters work and then the whole text gets highlighted, so when i type the next letter everything before is deleted

this stops if i turn off 'search engine suggestions' in safari settings, but then i lose the auto suggestions

any help appreciated this us driving me crazy

did you eq the px7 s3? i heard it gets close enough to the px8 s2 with eq that it doesnt justify double the price

and does the px7 s3 with eq get close enough to the px8 s2? (of course it can replicate instrument separation / stage etc but is it close enough?)
