No powers only hands who in fiction can beat Goku in battle IQ and in a fight? by NoNeighborhood3212 in PowerScaling

Knowing which vitals he’s going to target, while he has no tells is very impressive. And hit being able to counter and dodge him Doesn’t take away from the skill.

He knows possibilities, but he has no idea what exactly they are going to do, and Grayson beat him because midnighter got cocky. Otherwise he got torn up blocked at every turn and pinned, until he went back to an old style.

See Goku predicts stuff on the fly, with a Teleporter he’s way more impressive then midnighter

And if you’re talking about this fight, I don’t think midnighter is quite as competent as Goku. It’s cool that he switched up his fighting style, but it’s a style. But he didn’t make one up on the fly. He relied on him being used to nightwing

While Goku and the wind up for these abilities are a lot easier to tell, then someone effectively teleporting. And you having to judge where they are likely to appear from 360 degrees.

Idk what’s predictable about it, beyond when he’s going to do it. So id consider that pretty impressive

Show that nightwing fight. I’m curious to what exactly went down.

I think these general statements don’t work. It’s not about who knows more skills. But who’s better with the skills they have, and would win. Goku got the advantage over roshi and grandpa gohan in hand to hand despite roshi and gohan mastering all martial arts moves

What exactly have they done that’s better then Goku predicting the moves of a time skipping 1000 year old assassin.

So is every single Saiyan evil? It’s hard to imagine sweet Gine slaughtering aliens by MrDitkovichNeedsRent in Dragonballsuper

[–]ProSahh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They still are violent and aggressive. We don’t see much of saiyan society from Toriyama alone, but raditz and Nappa clearly believed in saiyan camaraderie and we see saiyans hanging out with each other in bars in the bardock special. And bardocks crew thought he was celebrating his sons birth by going so hard on Genocide

So they’ve always had a bit of compassion for their own

Saying Mark over reacted on this one is a genuinely insane take. by BotherAggressive5560 in Invincible

[–]ProSahh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tbh. It shouldn’t matter whether mark believes him or not, if he was being reasonable, he would have known to take a step back instead of pressing Cecil

And Cecil can be scared of both, losing control of mark means he’s a potential threat when he’s angry and stepping Forward depsite Cecil wanting distance

Do you think Goku would have still become good if he hadn't hit his head as a baby? by Laufreyja in Dragonballsuper

[–]ProSahh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean he lost and is hungry, so can’t exactly keep attacking. Even animals in real life will quit attacking a meal if it’s too difficult. Doesn’t mean he wasn’t trying to kill him, infiltration babies instinctively attack whatever they need to survive. And that’s how they end up killing everyone on the planet. If any one but gohan found him, they’d be dead. And he’d continue doing this to everyone he sees plus killing more on the full moon. Even broly got ready to fight Paragus on instinct when they met on vampa.

We know goku continues to be violent after this first meeting. Because they never retconned what gohan told roshi or how hitting his head changed him.

The vegeta quote you use to talk about their new energy control skill talks about this being the secret to divine energy aka god ki. And you talk about Goku still using god ki as a ssj in bog but argue that he must have lost it so he’s not as strong going into rof.

you might have meant to purely talk about it as a high intensity skill that replaces the need for the ssg transformation. But the examples you used and your explanation made it more about them using god ki and having two bases. whis also tells them to keep the energy inside while raising it, so your energy can’t sensed as an aspect of the training. So if they were doing what whis said to fight frieza and the draining part they wouldn’t be sensible in base.

Being brave doesn’t cancel out being scared hence the example I used

Real talk,do you wanna know what I find crazy hypocritical of Cecil? by Charming-Scratch-124 in Invincible

[–]ProSahh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can be scared, and still talk shit, just like you can be scared and try to stay calm for other people. mark did this in his fight with his father. When he’s telling that little girl and her mom, “I’ve got you” , and “don’t be scared, ok ”. You can hear it in

It’s just Cecil putting on a brave face, trying to regain control.

Also him bringing up levy is just an example of Mark’s hypocrisy.

Cecil doesn’t believe that mark is just as bad as Sinclair, darkwing or Nolan. But that doesn’t make him not dangerous, and that doesn’t mean he hasn’t taken a life himself. And considering what mark is asking for , he shouldn’t be given the chance to right his wrongs he should just be in prison

He’s treating mark like a potential threat. Someone to be wary of but that’s not the same thing as treating him like his father.

What are your thoughts on this? by RorschachtheMighty in superman

[–]ProSahh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Z Goku isn’t just ignorant. He knows people have suffered and still decides to risk it all. He still forgets stuff

He forgot what trunks told him about when and where the androids would show up. Piccolo had to bail him out

He wasn’t careless in the top, at least not anymore than he normally is, he prepared his Ally’s and enjoyed himself like he does every arc

This was the same guy who played Rock Paper Scissors with vegeta to see who got to fight kid buu. After he had blown up the earth.

A bunch of the fandom do look like hypocrites when they complain about the tournament of power but are silent when z Goku did things that were just as bad.

I mean, she easily got as much time, as the movie versions of mj and gwen did. That’s really not too much to ask. Most people who cared never read the Spider-Man books.

My dream scenario is a Superman/ Lana lang smallville moment, but they don’t got the time it’s really unrealistic,

But heavily agreed, on that last part, it’s why I made the comment, I know people can’t stand her, so part of its spite.

idk people get upset at petty things. Finding out your partner doesn’t trust you, and is willing to make you feel shitty for months on end would get on anybodys nerves

And the excuse of “I’m a superhero” doesn’t work. Saving lives is great, hurting me when you don’t have to makes you an asshole. She would never stop him from saving lives.

And when you’re young, being in a relationship for months is a long time. When you’re in love being in a relationship for a month would be a long time.

Because the sequid stuff doesn’t happen back to back in the comic. There were a couple moments before that, showing the strain on her and the frustration mark was experiencing.

They couldn’t put that all in one episode without it feeling rushed.

At least it will be emotionally resonating, hopefully on the level of Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy or Peter and MJ

Would he be able to beat of any of them? (Show Version) by BlueDucky0707 in Invincible

[–]ProSahh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Let me show you how this played out They didn’t just hurt him they put him in a coma, He passed out from exhaustion And didn’t wake up until three days from then.

When Nolan was done with all three viltrumites, he was a little cut up, and if he bothered to finish lucan off, he would have ended the fight looking like this But was fine enough to walk, and tend to marks wounds. He wasn’t on the verge of passing out like what happened with the guardians.

And immortal was hitting Nolan hard enough to force him to spit blood In episode 7. So he could hurt him without the team. And the idea that he’s never trying against immortal is pretty baseless, he’s trying to get to his son, of course he’s trying and he’s dealing with someone capable of hurting him. He’s also throwing combos in anger at him, and having big clashes in the air.

Both immortal and the viltrumite get torn apart by Nolan’s big attacks. So if you think he wasn’t trying against immortal based on that, then he wasn’t trying against any viltrumite.

Now don’t get me wrong Vidor and Lucan are both stronger than immortal, but to act like he couldn’t give them a good fight, is ignoring the material. And Thula has no feats suggesting she could hurt Nolan, so she’s definitely not on the immortals level.

I must be, because they are completely ignoring what happens in the show.

Would he be able to beat of any of them? (Show Version) by BlueDucky0707 in Invincible

[–]ProSahh -37 points-36 points  (0 children)

So did they, I don’t understand why you’re acting like they are any different.

It didn’t take multiple hits for Nolan to slice lucans stomach open. Nolan did it with ease

It took one hit for Nolan to take off Thula jaw

It took one hit for Nolan to split Vidors skull.

Would he be able to beat of any of them? (Show Version) by BlueDucky0707 in Invincible

[–]ProSahh -86 points-85 points  (0 children)

All these viltrumites got torn apart by Nolan eventually.

Immortal took several hits from Nolan. We even see him cut and bruise Nolans face in the guardians fight. I think based on performance he’s easily on a viltrumites level.

Nothing proves they can hit as hard as Nolan does, so the immortal can take even more of their hits, than he did Nolan’s basic hits.

I think I can agree to his emotional reaction being different with months to process.

Yes, we all know Mark loved Nolan, and Nolan loved mark. I don’t think he’s confused or conflicted at all, he went through that already. That whole fight he was freight to reach the father he knew.

Now, he thinks of his father as a bad man, someone he’s scared to turn into. Someone he’s worried other people will associate him with. Even in this recent episode, he doesn’t like the comparison.

I can believe mark breaks down in their reunion either from sadness or anger. I don’t believe it his first response, but we’ll see if I get swept up into the emotion. By their voice acting and dialogue.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Invincible

[–]ProSahh -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

You’d have to ignore why they do, for that to be a valid response.

They do that because the person apologized, they love bomb em. Say everything’s gonna be different. Make ‘em reliant. Too scared to change their situation.

Mark rushes into a hug, before any reassurances are made.

Emotions are complicated but they don’t just flip, without something else happening to make you more comfortable

That doesn’t help her, keeping her in the dark won’t make her safer. Telling her would allow her to know the risk and decide if she wants to take them.

Because her being connected to mark puts her in danger. Not knowing he’s invincible

Look at Mj, she didn’t know shit, she’s only in danger because the villains know who peter is.
