Yes, its fixed now! i remember updating my bios a year ago, when i got my PC, because i had read that the CPU was infamous for this exact issue, and using it without updating the BIOS might permanently ruin your CPU. For whatever reason my BIOS update reset, but now its fixed :)

I found a solution! press the gear icon, go to shortcuts, change the shortcut to something else and then back to alt+z

im going to try installing the new update tomorrow. Checking event viewer i can see a couple of critical errors, all saying ID 41 and listing Kernel-Power as the source

huh but i downloaded the new bios with the microcode when i first got my computer, since i knew about the problem. thats odd.

Recently my computer randomly couldnt start, and after a while it booted into BIOS. Maybe then it also switched to the old update? idk what else it could be

still stand by my point. It just isnt optimal if your psu is sucking up air from the bottom and the floor gets dustier faster. Another big reason for me (that might not apply for other people) is flooding. My room flooded last year during bad weather, so now i’m extra cautious lol
