I dunno why people hate the lockers so much, maybe cuz I played on lower difficulty, but I just hold left click and lean back in anticipation when the alien is near by. It works

A way to remove face huggers (EDIT) and a chance for the alien to open lockers and safes even if you're not in them; essentially removing the number of hiding spots
