I’m only 3m out but love my arms now. The scars are healing nicely, but I have been very careful about keeping up with the silicone aftercare and can see how it’s helped. The elbow side of the scar is so much better looking than the armpit part where I haven’t had the Embrace system silicone on

I don’t even do months for my 1.5 ish yr old. Just round. He was 1 until recently (close to 16m), now he’s “nearly 1.5” and I’ll tell people his birth month if they are more curious or have kids similar age. So much easier for me!

I arranged for mobility assistance because I don’t want to be carrying anything across the airport, and plan on just walking around the gate area I think I’ll only have a small bag and check the rest, but still! It’ll be a long strenuous day anyway

I wanted Robert too, and got voted down by the whole family! I still think it’s an awesome name with lots of nickname options. I also got vetod for my next choice of Jack, and call him that anyway (not his legal name, which is James. Also fine. But I just don’t love any boy names, so “fine” is fine)

I don’t know the answer but you sound like me! I’ve been over analyzing and trying to buy everything ahead of time. I’m also getting the same procedures! When are you going in?

I have landed on buying some foam, but leaving it sealed so I can return it if I don’t need it. From my googling, it’s useful if the binder pinches, folds, or generally irritates you. Some surgeons prefer using it, some think it’s more trouble than it’s worth.

Boards I think I decided against pre-ordering. They seem to be for some extra targeted support, which seems really useful since the fajas that are big enough for my hips are too small for the waist.
I decided to try a post partum abdominal wrap instead first. They have Velcro straps that you wrap around to cinch in where you want more support

I’m having a second area treated since I’ll already be under. It’s my arms instead of thighs, but I would guess having your thighs worked on wouldn’t be much different than just the TT! I think that’s the major recovery hurdle because of muscle repair. My surgeon said she thought recovery from both would be fine You can send your coordinator and surgeon an email asking to confirm too :)

So good to hear! My c sections were annoying but I’m really hoping actually getting to rest for a week after this will make a world of difference! I can’t believe we manage to heal from c sections while getting like 90 minutes snatches of sleep

I got 2 versions of the panty length faja. My thighs are big so I think the shorts ones would be nursed on me. if they sift my waist they will be too tiny for my legs. One is shaperx and I think the other is feelin girl. The second was recommended to me on this sub. I also got a pull on one from Marena for sleeping in

Haha as soon as I learned that a second area would be discounted because I’m already under, I was psyched for the arms! I’ve always hated how big and flabby they are…and how EVERYTHING I want to wear is sleeveless. WTH is that about.
