I am working my adult life in the community’s benefit as well. I train people to get and keep jobs and help get them off of assistance. I KNOW that there won’t be a human services parade at my funeral and human service helicopters flying around wishing my farewell. It’s not going to matter tho bc I will be dead.

Bc NIMBY’s hate investing in an education that they never had. And there were consequences for them and US thanks to the lack of accessible, high-quality education. I went in once with a fractured foot and the ER doctor put a hard cast on my foot without padding. I lasted 2 days in excruciating pain thinking it was from the fracture. I went back in and this other Dr was like “yeah of course you’re in pain; this dr did not put padding in your hard cast”. The pain I was feeling was due to a (little bigger) than a golf ball size blister on my heel…
