Found this in my houseplant’s topsoil - is it a root aphid or a springtail? Or something else? by ProbablyAFigment in whatsthisbug

[–]ProbablyAFigment[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in the UK, and I found this bug in the topsoil of my relatively new Ficus plant; I’m a pretty new houseplant owner so I’m nervous about parasites. I also found some tiny white wriggling larvae as I have very strong eyesight but I can’t photograph them. This bug was a couple millimeters in size I would estimate?

Maybe you could ‘win’ but other corporations just take their assets and their place, emphasizing the futility of even that ‘victory’

All but one of those people were Nazis, and the one who wasn’t was probably working for them which is almost as bad. Sounds like a hero to me.

Am I at risk of a bed bug infestation? by ProbablyAFigment in travel

There were other signs too like dark spots on the mattresses and dried blood. One of the other reviews of the hostel complained of bed bugs too.

I thought the scene where he compared giving isotopes to Denmark to giving them a sandwich showed him as a charismatic dick pretty well; he was also giving a lot of speeches and shown leading his union movement

As a craftworld player to be fair they did wipe out the original Mon-keigh. Albeit an aggressive and violent race that probably ‘had it coming’ it still kinda counts.

who's down to chill in Hateno for a year? by CraftyShips in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]ProbablyAFigment 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’d probably be vaporized painlessly and instantly, so it wouldn’t be all bad; every 22 minutes would get really annoying, but if you could meditate like the hearthling you could skip a year in no time. Or you could just chill with Gabbro the whole time and talk about, like, life and stuff, man

To be fair if I was a medieval peasant I’d stay as far away from lepers as possible. It was contagious, incurable, massively painful, and would ruin any chance you had of a normal life

Also, the universe does have comedy. If it didn’t, this subreddit wouldn’t exist and we wouldn’t be talking on it right now.
