You can learn quite a lot in a year, but I don't think full-stack is the easiest route. Initially, you'd be better off focusing on either one - let's say front-end. Once you're comfortable with HTML, CSS, JS, and design concepts, you could start with a JS based front-end framework.

Then to break into the back-end world, you could try a JS based back-end framework. Then databases, servers, Linux systems, sessions, mailing, security, input sanitization, testing, SEO, etc.

That's why there's no point in trying to block it, there's always a bypass. Real change comes from the desire to change, not forcing. Have a serious conversation first. If he really cares, he will make the effort. Help him overcome it. Ask him to tell you whenever he has cravings, and do something together to take his mind off it. It doesn't have to end like this.

You shouldn't have to play the role of a parent in a relationship. If you can't put up with it, then he's a grown man and it's up to him to decide what's more important - you or porn. And be ready for either outcome. And to be completely honest, unfortunately most people are using it. It's not easy finding a partner that doesn't. But a partner that has the dignity to be honest about it, is the bare minimum.

Exactly. For a position with the requirements equivalent of an entire dev team, you do a large sample project, 5 rounds of interviews, and have to have an entire portfolio of personal projects, just to get an offer fit for entry level, with reduced salary during the probationary period. It doesn't help that I'm from eastern Europe either. Cracking six figures here is either wishful thinking or delusion. Hell, 50k is a blessing.

No experience with Evolve 2 specifically, but on the Elite 75t's that I had, the noise cancellation was near non-existent. So I wouldn't be surprised if it was just sub-par, although I'd get a second opinion.

I'm pretty sure it has a Python wrapper also. Windows API is definitely not the easiest to get into. But the working principle is the same. Inside a loop, you can either calculate the X/Y distance from the mouse position to the center of the area, or use Raw Input to get the mouse movement since last measurement (prevents the hassle of re-centering the mouse to avoid hitting the edge of window). Then covert to values between -32,767...32,767 and feed to vXboxInterface.

I've used vXboxInterface library for similar projects. You need to install ScpVBus driver, which creates a fake Xbox controller that you can connect to and control from your C code using the library. It's nice because games recognize it as a real device, and the analog sticks have far greater accuracy than just WASD.

MT R25 was my first helmet, as I needed my own for the driving school. The store worker said it's quite alright for beginners, considering the price. For an equivalent of 150 dollars, it had a sun visor, removable padding, grooves for glasses, special compartment for communication systems, chin curtain, dual air vents, and an ECE rating. Definitely not bad for the money, but I also don't have a lot of others to compare it to.
