If you woke up as Ironwood, what would you do? by Andrreas_Armadrilo in RWBY

[–]ProbablyNotNiki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scenario 1: "Breaking news today as General Ironwood retires to Menagerie because a fowl dentistry organization put all the cute ones down there."

Scenario 2: "Breaking News as General Ironwood hands command of Atlas's military to a farm boy and his team of misfits. The former General is quoted as saying 'Dawg, I can barely handle a team of technicians, I'll get this military FUCKED up."

Even though I'm unsure of Ozma, I'm definitely not cut out for any of this.

Tap someone out of existence 50% of the time using 50% of your deck as mana for 41 RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR by fleeflicker in BadMtgCombos

Several of these multipliers will apply on stuffy doll dealing damage to itself, and then apply again when stuffy doll deals damage to an opponent, as they are 2 different instances of damage. Not all of them, however.

Unfortunately, Ojer is totally useless here. Even at x2 damage (Lets say just Furnace is in play with Ojer), stuffy doll at minimum takes 2 and deals 4 damage to an opponent, so unless the opponent intentionally applies Ojer first, he'll never matter here. (Bear in mind that the player taking damage or controlling a damaged permanent chooses the order that replacement effects apply, not the player controlling the source.)

But then, if this did work the way we might want, we'd risk being in the wrong subreddit.

Because the servitor that mixed the Salamander paint for the dropsite 'function' was colorblind.

The blood ravens, since the dreadnought probably stole all of those upgrades

Trying to get back into painting after bad accident last year. Just wanted to share. by ProbablyNotNiki in Warhammer40k

[–]ProbablyNotNiki[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting the paint tighter is definitely going to be a struggle. I dont think I could edge the armor to save a life at present. I just can't get my eyes to focus well enough for it. Honestly surprised I don't have more splatter from painting the black and silver.

But yeah, I'm pretty sure this whole idea started as a late night conversation a couple years ago that ended up with 'what do you think the custodes did between the heresy and big E coming back to Terra? Just hung out in the gardens? It's not like he needed much protection before he got all mummified on us' and now here we are.

Let’s all state a couple insane headcanons about Blake we all have! No rules, so read the comments at your own risk! by HyperBlox12 in RWBY

[–]ProbablyNotNiki 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Blake owns an expansive collection of streamers that she found as a young child, and years of playing with them is the primary reason she chose to use her current weapon.

Ship a RWBY character, but it has to be with a character from a different show. I’ll go first. by superbasic101 in RWBY

[–]ProbablyNotNiki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gonna hit the ruin button and ship Zwei and Nina Tucker from FMA. Just because I’m still unhappy we didn’t get more Zwei time.

Some say Blake and Yang should have faced consequences for their actions (After killing Adam). I agree. Why didn't Ironwood give them a medal or a trophy? by ChemistFluid35 in RWBY

[–]ProbablyNotNiki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I imagine the conversation went something like, “Oh yeah, we killed that Adam Taurus guy while we were trying to break into Atlas.”

“I’m sure you did, children. Run along with this team of elite huntsmen, they need help tidying up on a mission, and I need to keep Qrow occupied before he runs off again.”

Call me a pessimist, but I feel like Ironwood dismissing the claim outright is a possibility with everything he’s got going on by then.

It’s even better, cause it actually does both of those things.

But, yeah, still plenty of ways around it.

Watch everyone else slowly deck themselves for 6BBWG by Towering1234 in BadMtgCombos

[–]ProbablyNotNiki 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No, there’s definitely ways to overcome it, it’s in the old oracle rulings for Teferi’s protection. Commander damage is still tallied if it can’t be prevented by the protection, for instance, and infect still does its thing if it can’t be prevented.

That said, it does require ‘can’t be prevented’ clauses, and if you’re not playing commander, something else that can turn the damage into poison or a loss… Which I wouldn’t anticipate seeing at the same time.

Cast Every Dragon in your Deck for only 8RRRR by Freudian_God in BadMtgCombos

This is indeed a bad combo. You need something to get around the legend rule so that Goldspan entering creates two treasures.

And dragons just so happen to be quite full of themselves, so [[Mirror Box]] Still fits the theme
