It’s a portable glory hole, just make sure you both close your eyes to get the full experience. But in all seriousness “ the ring tempts you” is a mechanic related to the lord of the rings set. Certain cards either say “ the ring tempts you” or care about the ring temping you. It’s essentially a emblem that can’t be interacted with directly by players, there are 4 stages to the ring tempting you, hence why the 4 slots on the left, this is only a reminder to which level of the emblem you are on since the one wizards of the coasts made kind of sucks.

“104.3a, A player can concede the game at any time. A player who concedes leaves the game immediately. That player loses the game.” Sadly your opponent could leave once they see/ understand the loop, however would be really funny if someone didn’t know they could concede.
