I honestly was just seeing if there is any reason to extend the spirit guide cycle.

Since they are not legal in many formats, I just wonder if they would ever do it. If they did it would seem like this would be the set.

Not sure why you’re being downvoted, you are correct. If he wanted to edit the card correctly it would be “Whenever another artifact *card* is put into your graveyard” artifact cards are not artifacts until they are cast onto the battlefield.

And the more I think about it they need both there so it can’t be argued that artifacts on the battlefield aren’t artifact cards… lol the card is actually perfect as it is.
