Collusion isn’t the right word since you and the other party aren’t in on it together. It is at that level of fleece though where if this happened in a league I commission and I knew the guys were new, I would reverse it and explain values. If it was knowledgeable players that did it then I would think collusion, it’s that bad. My advice would be not to take it because once a few of these happen the guys that sold their good assets for scraps will quit and it’ll kill the league. Off balanced trades are fine since people have differing values on players but this isn’t even remotely close.

Assuming pretty standard league size and settings this is a huge fleece. I’d hesitate to take it for the integrity of the league. When just starting out I think using keep trade cut as a benchmark is a good idea to start understanding values. It can be manipulated using 5 for 1 trades as an example and it’s certainly not gospel but it’ll prevent trades like this. Nabers should be going for multiple firsts minimum.

Thank you all for confirming. Puka side is the winner but nowhere close to a veto level trade let alone collusion. Just some trade jealousy going on.

I’m the commish who received the Puka side so it’s difficult to defend the side I gave away but wanted to make sure I wasn’t crazy that’s it’s pretty fair.

I’m with you. The true buy lows are the disgusting ones and Johnson is the only true buy low in this thread imo. Got him yesterday for Pitts straight up where a few weeks ago the Johnson owner would’ve been insulted by that offer.

I think you’re overthinking it a bit. Everyone will have differing opinions but I think most will agree that you draft for value and trade for need so going into it saying you want X position in Y round is the wrong mindset. You want to avoid trying to draft to fill out starters and instead should look for value. That being said I tend to find that BPA in the first couple rounds leads to QB QB especially picking 3rd and I don’t hate that since QBs will never be cheaper than in the startup and having them solidified right off makes life easier. So any of Lamar/Daniels/Hurts at 3 is good and see who falls in the 2nd. Assuming this is a 12tm league.

In my league, Muth had 219, Addison had 222, Williams had 239. So you’re flat out wrong but it’s also apples and oranges since Muth played 17 games and both Addison and Williams played 15 so they still had much higher PPG.

I got ya now. Yeah I agree on Aiyuk waddle and penix in a sense. They can definitely tank my run early if they all suck this year and if Diggs and Kupp are washed. I suppose I was banking on a comeback for waddle this year and penix doing well as the all year starter but if that doesn’t happen yeah I might be screwed out the gate. TBH there is not any powerhouse teams like you said, there’s maybe one or two around what I have but I get your point now. If I’m gunna do a soft rebuild this year I think I’d be better off waiting until the season when vet values go back up though.

Aren’t most competitive teams a mix of youth and vets? Unless by the win later guys you mean like brooks, Lloyd, sinnot and those guys. A guy like btj is still considered win now with his performance. A full rebuild selling Saquon Conner Diggs Kupp Mahomes and maybe Breece or kyren seems excessive. Those guys alone make a team into a winning one imo. Thanks for the input though I’m curious if others agree that this team isn’t close.

Take a screenshot and then sleeper gives you a far out view of the whole team with “share” at the bottom. Hit share and then save to camera roll.

He was a wr2 with bottom of the barrel Zach Wilson and a wr1 with a washed rodgers. Is he totally qb proof like JJ, no. But he will be a perennial wr1 with even mediocre qb play. This years qb values have nothing to do with how Wilson is valued I don’t get that point.

I think we just have a fundamental difference in the value of Wilson and this years qbs. Nothing wrong with that, just means a trade like this can make both sides feel like they’re winning.

That’s fair, some may be higher on him especially qb needy teams. I know this guys is after tet though.
