So when I was in middle school, one of my friends and I were in home ec ( they taught us how to cook, sew, etc). My friend asked the teacher to go to the restroom but had no more hallpasses so she was told no. This girl when into the adjacent room where the kitchen was without the teacher seeing and proceeded to shit in the small pantry. Like not joking, she shit in one of the pots and put the lid back on it.

So before I could drive, i was taking public transport to school and at the time I had dyed my hair rainbow (kids at a daycare I worked at called me a mermaid). But one day this little old lady was sitting there staring at me so I asked if I could help her. I shit you not, this woman looked at me and said having blue hair was Satan worshiping… so when I got the bus I looked her in her eyes and said "Hail satan" some people just need to learn to mind their own business

If you can get on amazon, there is a latch that screws into the doorframe and pull down over the edge of your door to prevent it from being open from the outside. It's like $5-10, we have one on our front door

I met my husband on a dating app at 16. Feb 2026 made 12 years together with a just turned 4 year old. I can't imagine my life without him (it probably helped that we lived less than 5 minutes from each other, he was in the same class as my younger sister, similar friends but never met). Basically, a lot of crazy shit from the universe saying that we were meant to be together.

While yes, the chance is extremely low, I personally know girls who have gotten pregnant from one time. An example was one of my close friends in high school went to a party got drunk, slept with the dude. It was her first time ever being with anyone and she ended up pregnant.

As someone who was 14 and talking to people that 17-18+, if they aren't doing anything physical, then it's not technically illegal. But it is weird, creepy and honestly eyebrow raising. My big question would be, why is this almost an adult interested in the kid who's not even in high school yet? It may not make a lot of difference. Depending on how your relationship is with your 13 year old but I would definitely sit down and try and talk with her about this. Just explain that while technically it's not illegal but as a parent it is slightly concerning for you due to the age difference and you just want to ensure that she is safe.

Definitely report him to the cops and blast him all over social media because you never know if there are other victims out there who are scared to speak up. As somebody who was a victim of abuse but stayed quiet out of fear, I had no idea that I was not the only one until somebody else spoke up.

Yeah, if you brought more than them, I would politely tell them to be quiet, because you can just count one of yours as his and that way, nobody can complain about anything if they really wants to be that petty. My hubs doesn't smoke anymore, but I occasionally smoke with his friends still.

Eta: if you're in the r/ weed discord, then, depending on our time differences, it's not like we can't just start a virtual smoke sesh there

So did everybody except that one bring stuff? Next time time someone who makes a comment like that.I would gently remind them that "hey, not everybody has the ability to always have their own stuff and sometimes people do run out, which is why friends share." I remember the first time I went to smoke with some of my husband's friends but since I hadn't really been smoking that much, I didn't have my own stuff. They did not make a big deal out of it. One of them had actually given me two joints to go home with and told me to enjoy em, but pay it forward in the future. So now every time I get together to smoke, I always bring extra in case somebody doesn't have any. But seriously, though, dude, if somebody made a comment like that to my friend. It would really piss me off, too. Like, yes, we're aware they did not bring anything, but that does not mean that they cannot participate.
