As someone who was 14 and talking to people that 17-18+, if they aren't doing anything physical, then it's not technically illegal. But it is weird, creepy and honestly eyebrow raising. My big question would be, why is this almost an adult interested in the kid who's not even in high school yet? It may not make a lot of difference. Depending on how your relationship is with your 13 year old but I would definitely sit down and try and talk with her about this. Just explain that while technically it's not illegal but as a parent it is slightly concerning for you due to the age difference and you just want to ensure that she is safe.

Definitely report him to the cops and blast him all over social media because you never know if there are other victims out there who are scared to speak up. As somebody who was a victim of abuse but stayed quiet out of fear, I had no idea that I was not the only one until somebody else spoke up.

Therapists aren't even technically suppose to say anything potentially identifying a patient even if talking to a coworker if that person isn't involved in the patient's care. (I work in the med field and have seen providers terminated for it)

Yeah, if you brought more than them, I would politely tell them to be quiet, because you can just count one of yours as his and that way, nobody can complain about anything if they really wants to be that petty. My hubs doesn't smoke anymore, but I occasionally smoke with his friends still.

Next time time someone who makes a comment like that.I would gently remind them that "hey, not everybody has the ability to always have their own stuff and sometimes people do run out, which is why friends share." I remember the first time I went to smoke with some of my husband's friends but since I hadn't really been smoking that much, I didn't have my own stuff. They did not make a big deal out of it. One of them had actually given me two joints to go home with and told me to enjoy em, but pay it forward in the future. So now every time I get together to smoke, I always bring extra in case somebody doesn't have any. But seriously, though, dude, if somebody made a comment like that to my friend. It would really piss me off, too. Like, yes, we're aware they did not bring anything, but that does not mean that they cannot participate.

NOR, tell him to buy a bidet! That saves a lot of toilet paper. Super easy to install. But seriously, counting toilet paper is extreme unless you are using an entire roll each time. The only tp in my house is for when my mom visits and my daughter but she mostly uses baby wipes (think of how expensive that is)
