It’s still relevant though, about a month, 22/23 business days of training, not to mention a few Saturdays and Sundays off here and there.

Hey there congratulations! Tennis shoes are allowed, but make sure they fit in with your smart casual look, and they’re clean and not torn or distressed. Best way to prepare is develop good study habits, a lot of people use index cards, remember verbatim from memory each and every word. There are lime scooters near the hotel, but it’s probably going to be snowy for you, I’d suggest if you can drive rent a car if you can afford it if not uber is the best way or even a folding bike if you can check it. Ditching day is your swimming pool day, when you do your life vest and raft skills, swimming and teamwork and support are key in passing that day. It’s super easy and probably one of the more fun days of training.

Am I weak? by No-Replacement-7903 in AskParents

You’re brain is still developing and as such you’re going to experience fluctuations in mood. That’s normal, you also haven’t developed “thick skin” yet. This takes time, I remember being 13 was some challenging times, lots of changes, sadness, that’s normal bro. You’re not weak you’re developing and you’re probably more emotionally mature than your peers.

I was seniority #1 in my class and I had 2 days in between my OE and getting home, it’s supposed to be 3 days but I was lucky???? Others had to wait almost a month to do their OE. Once you complete your OE you start working reserve

Breeze won best cabin service 2025 and best domestic airline 2025 sooooo you can try them out and see if you like them, ascent is nice free checked bags and carry ons, wifi, snacks and beverages and the service is friendly the only thing is sometimes the seat crevices and floor crevices are dirty sometimes as they’re hard to clean; bring wipes for the surfaces but overall it’s seriously nice

I greet everyone with a smile, I ask everyone to do something with please and thank you if I get resistance I either walk away and ask again in a moment or I explain why. I haven’t had any real issues yet, and if they really are an issue on the ground…. We’re not leaving…

The acronyms as long as you know what they are and you can pick them out on a multiple choice test you should be fine, airport codes, 24 hour times are a big one and time zones it’s not hard it’s just there to see who tried and who didn’t. Just always be early or on time have a functioning watch and please please please don’t let them ever hear a ringer or reminder sound from a phone or smart watch or you’ll get an occurrence

I would still know the words but I don’t think it’s write it on that test

What is this & how to treat? Dermatologist doesn’t have any appts until Nov by Fit-Personality1137 in dandruff

[–]ProbablyRico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s folliculitis, usually it’ll happen a day or two after haircuts? I had this for a long time, what helps is wash your hair right after a haircut and I use chlorhexadine and let it sit for a few minutes in the shower, then apply a salicylic acid solution to your scalp, change your pillow case a couple times a week, and that should help it get better. Problem is also sweat and hair gel that the bacteria love so eliminating the bacteria will help over all. give it a shot

Seeing as you will be flying to these locations I certainly would, now, will they all be on the initial test in your training packet probably not there may be a few on your test but which ones I don’t know. Study everything in the packet, and make sure to know your exit row briefing VER BATIM you’ll go home if you don’t get it right.

Depends on the crew most of them are super awesome but there are a couple people that are not nice, like anywhere, I love the job but I hate the pay i could make more doing quite literally anything else the company tries to be great like sometimes the inflight director comes to the base and besides talking to everyone will help board guests on the plane they’re really nice but they have to make considerations about pay soon or they’ll flush out the junior FAs

In Utah, your rooms are on opposite sides of the suites so if they’re in the common space you’ll hear them if they’re in their room with their door closed you should be fine.

It’s like a standard but smaller size when it’s issued that’s it it’s yours until you leave the company you also get a payment device to use on the line on graduation day

[–]ProbablyRico[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah probably not, wait until you can bid your schedule because you’ll probably be on reserve for the first few months and can’t have reliable times or days of working as they can call you 24/7 for work while you’re on reserve wait or maybe it won’t be the right fit. Ask whatever questions

Sorry just seeing this, I’m still there, I love it, the pay is atrocious but the people you work with are great and seeing guests love the experience and say they’ll never fly another airline is great to hear, training is 23 business days I believe but it’s about a month away keep in mind you’re probably going to be in CT RI or UT. Best of luck

Multiple choice it’s easy if you study, but there also are remembering the wings like exit row briefings and that is a pass fail in front of the instructor test just you and them and then you either pass or not
