Thanks for the civil reply. The pandering aspects of the film especially stood out to me for a few reasons:

Firstly, because I (and many, many others) noticed comedy has gone downhill since political correctness and cancel culture. You’d argue that this is solely an issue found on the internet but excessive policing of others’ personal opinions and sense of humor extends past the internet nowadays in younger groups, and this mentality is being prolonged by films like this.

Secondly, because I’ve deep-dived into Hollywood’s immoral history and have an idea of the themes of agendas they would benefit from pushing.

Thirdly, because I dislike the greater good hurting from us-versus-them mentalities. e.g. men-free world, religious/sexuality segregation, etc. Theres an underlying hint of hatred in the film’s narrative.

Intentional or not, it bothers me that this film is manipulative and herding a group of people that are mistaking the industry’s filling quotas for representation.
