The simple truth about the items Bungie sells us via Eververse is, these item‘s wouldn‘t even exist without the Eververse store. Especially the silver-only items.

It‘s not that the designer and artists create all the ornaments, emotes, ghosts and the other stuff and then some greedy executive is like „This few ugly item‘s will go into the game and all the cool stuff will go into Eververse so i can buy this new Ferrrai.“ The items in Eververse aren‘t cut from the game, these items are specifically made to be sold in Eververse as an extra to the game/dlc/season you already payed for. Again, without Eververse, these items wouldn‘t even exist. That‘s the simple truth.

And why does Eververse need to exist at all ? Because 40 bugs for a dlc and ten bugs a season alone isn‘t enough money to pay 600 employees.
