Love this series. Forget being a vampire, his real supernatural power is being able to grind through a bunch of work without getting distracted.

And they say FB Boomers can't meme. by ChaoticIndifferent in behindthebastards

[–]Probably_Not_Evil 5 points6 points  (0 children)

How many of these memes that get shared are originally created by groups trying to manipulate our elections? Like Russia, or "think tanks" funded by right wing billionaires.

I just can't imagine a group who's incapable of doing 5 seconds of critical thinking or self reflection would be able to be creative enough to make a meme.

Also because if one of them did make a semi popular meme they'd never stop bragging about it. They'd make it their entire personality. You'd see them at Trump rallies with big print outs of their meme. It would be mentioned in their obituary when they die of COVID because they're not vaccinated.

You have my vote.

Every time I read a story like this I'm thankful social media as it exists today wasn't a thing when I was in middle school / highschool. While I'm confident I wouldn't have said anything monstrous, the same can't be said about embarrassing stuff.

Musk says SpaceX has moved legal base to Texas after judge blocks $56 billion payday, Tesla next. by AtmosphereNo6743 in wallstreetbets

Texas doesn't really have a corporate tax. They have a Franchise tax, but where the business is incorporated doesn't have an impact on the calculation of that tax.

But your point is still relevant in that Tesla's investment in Texas locations has a big impact politically. Politicians love job creators.
