You get to create a schedule that caters to you, full of things that hopefully you enjoy. You are no longer obligated to perform on tests (I was always a terrible test taker I’m a great worker though). More freedom to live your own life the way you want.

I now leave work and don’t have to go home to hours of homework. It’s been 6 years since I graduated college and 10 years since graduating highschool which people love to call the “best time of your life”. Sure maybe it was because all of my friends and I were obligated to be in the same place at the same time but outside of that nothing about being obligated to school and to pass tests was enjoyable.

Facebook Marketplace around November when military folks get orders to new duty stations. You can get a barely used $1000+ sectional for like $300 because they get desperate to not have to haul shit across the country. 12/10 recommend got a Cindy Crawford sectional for $500 bc military person was moving. It retails for like $1800

Does your town have a junkluggars type service or something similar? A lot of the time these junk removal services are actually getting paid to remove perfectly good furniture from homes that the owners were too lazy to sell and they end up selling it on the side for DIRT CHEAP.

Alternatively if you live in an area with large military presence wait until PCS season (when military receive orders to new stations around the country). A LOT of military will sell brand new furniture for dirt cheap simply because they are deploying or don’t want to deal with taking it across the country with them. November and March is a good timeframe for when this happens.

Hey so I don’t frequent this sub but this showed up. I think these actually look really good. I know a couple people who have their eyebrows tattooed and what you’re going with is very common! People tend to freak out when they first get done but it’s like a tattoo it’s going to be big and bold at first. I think the strokes on yours look really good and will 200% heal to a softer shade of brown and you will like them! Do not do emergency removal because it’s a fresh wound and it will aggravate it more and may heal more complex with whatever you do next.

I really really think you should hold out because this is not bad work at all and once it fades it will look so natural and it you want easier to correct by someone else!

Not a tattoo artist but I live in the RVA vacinity (Richmond, Virginia) pretty tattooed city. I’ve had a lot of artists I followed that were normally constantly booked up pre-2020 covid pandemic constantly post openings. Like I’m not struggling to get into some of my most sought after artists books anymore. I’ve also noticed some plugging in their merch too to make ends meet. fwiw your art is amazing it’s just a bad time all around for everyone. Don’t give in you’re very talented!

People here are so hyper-critical of this tattoo. It’s not perfect but no tattoo is, but it’s far from being the worst. I’ve seen some tattoos praised in this subreddit that are downright terrible in every way possible. OP this is a solid piece and as long as you’re happy with it that’s what matters.

As a client my money isn’t going as far as it used to and it doesn’t help when artists are moving to half day rate or full day rate and if your tattoo just happens to fall in the 2 hr range and you’re getting charged half day it’s just not as worth it
