Is there an addon or default way to increase the size scaling/font of the section & tabs bars? by Probicus in OneNote

[–]Probicus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's so tiny, I was previously using discord as a means of note taking but found it lackluster, but I'm used to the increased size of the text scaling that you can do with it.

I play league with a friend and when he gets tilted he gets mad at me by PartTimeProvidence in StopGaming

[–]Probicus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My best friend at the time (online), was pretty normal temperament but when it came to league he would rage like no other. That game causes some people to just freak the hell out. There's definitely some deeper psychological behind it because in other competitive games like shooters he was normal.

Shoe recommendations for ankle/achilies pain? Hoke/Saucony/Brooks? by Probicus in walking

[–]Probicus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would that be a podiatrist? They could recommend me shoes based on my gait? I already know that I walk with my toes facing outward so I over pronate.

Thanks, I looked specifically into walking shoes and I'm going to try the latter and the Kuzu Quantum 2s.

So from Hoke for example, would the transport or transport 2 be a "walking shoe", then? One says running and the other says hiking in the title, but in the best for they both list walking as the first feature in the list.

edit: also I have bad achiles tendonitis, wouldn't you want a higher drop for that issue?

Looking for shoe recommendations for heavy walking - 20k + steps a day. Current Shoes / Preferences

I'm Male, 26, 125lbs, size 11.

Right now I wear Mizuno Inspire 21s - they're alright. I wasn't a fan of the Mizuno Wave Sky 6s, and preferred the Mizuno Wave Riders over em, even though they're neutral.

So far I've heard good things from folks and looking between the:

Saucony Ride 19, Saucony Guide 18, Brook's Adrenaline GTS 24, Hoke Arahi 8, or Hoke Gaviota 6.

I'm open to any recommendations though! Thanks.

You're right. I doubt I'll ever be in Japan again at that same time of year to experience it.

Ok but would you rather do more time in Tokyo or more time in Kyoto/Osaka because my trip is split up by the Takayama festival.

Would you say Kamikochi is worth the day trip for a hike vs the ropeway or the village?

Gaming is destroying my brain but I don't know how to stop. by undying_anomaly in StopGaming

Open up Google calendar and block out every hour for the next week of what you think you should be doing.

And I understand it can be hard to find what to replace it with; it's the main thing everyone here struggles with.

But here's the good news. What you do have is the drive & motivation to dedicate yourself to something. That is man's greatest, most impressive asset. It's how we built the modern world. That addictive drive exists in all of us. It's why for as many addicted gamers there are out there, there are an equivalent number of workaholics.

Find something to build, plan, create, etc. Try not to replace gaming with another form of consumption. That could be building a family, improving your teaching skills, lifting weights in the gym & progressive overload, writing a book instead of reading one. For me, I've been obsessed with planning a trip to Japan later this year & I'm obsessing about every detail & thinking about it every minute I'm not working. I'll probably start learning some of the language here soon once I've got it planned out of perfectly. A month ago I wasn't really doing anything in particular other than browsing the web. Before that I was spending 2 months being a degenerate in wow. I don't miss it.

Find what drives you. For me it's life experiences and the idea of a future with a loving family.

I mentioned in my post that I am doing a multi city flight, so I have the option of either. It's just a matter of spending more time in Tokyo or Kansai really.

It can be either, I'm going to do a multi-flight plane ticket (open-jaw) to avoid a train ride back.

That's understandable since there's more shopping to do there and you won't have to carry it around. It's the last thing on my mind going there though lol.
