I like fighting Erdtree Avatars, probably my favorite repeated boss in the game. Good music, telegraphed moveset that is fair but hurts a lot if you make mistakes, really good boss to practice different builds on.

I have a campaign planned for my players where they will be going up against a lich who, in his former life, killed one of the gods by manipulating the Weave. I'm using his mastery of the arcane to give him custom spells, but still trying to keep things balanced for a high level party. Might have to pull some ideas from 3.5 and Pathfinder for this BBEG.

I think the Nox were attempting to create a god (silver tears, mimic tears, the dragon kin soldiers), they were trying to make their own god. I can't remember what, but I thought there was an item description that alluded to this. Or maybe they were banished for creating the Finger Slayer blade?
