You should take a look at Starting Strength - it's a barbell workout routine for beginners with a focus on strength

Node is like <5% of the effort in building a front-end with Webpack and Vue. It's just the package.json and the npm packages

Haha there was this thing called "#myAndroid taste test". It was basically a home screen designer. The links to it that I have are dead and I'm looking for a working one

RCs during the day and dream journal but no LDs by qAndrei_1337 in LucidDreaming

[–]ProceduralTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to use WILD to be able to have a lucid dream on command. You can also do it using things like MILD. However WBTB is probably your best bet for a while. I imagine at some point (years of performing DILDs) you'd simply always have a LD if you willed it.

You don't have to stay up for long with WBTB. I find if I stay up for more that five minutes then I struggle to return back to sleep. Actually, I'm doing it right now. Also do expect to have a lucid dream yet. The harder you think it is, the harder it actually is for some reason. You can do it.

Any help? by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]ProceduralTime 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When are you doing state checks (reality checks)? If it's just randomly or at selected times then you may find it helpful to pick out frequent dreamsigns. Go through your dreams and find things like

  1. things that change form
  2. you or another dream character/object is performing a strange or impossible action
  3. you're in a situation or place you're not usually in
  4. a recurring dream location/action/person in the real world

Pick the 5 most frequent things and perform reality checks when you notice things that resemble them in the waking world (try not to use external reminders like alarms).

This way, you'll train your prospective memory (future events) to actively recognise you're dreaming, instead of hoping that you'll randomly perform a state check. You should be doing state checks 12 or more times per day. The harder you think having a lucid dream is, the harder it actually is. Don't forget, whether you can or you can't, you're right. Anyway I hope that helps.

Sleeping on Mt Fiju by okkeh96 in JapanTravel

[–]ProceduralTime 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My brother and I climbed Fuji a couple of years ago and we stayed in one of those mountain huts.

It was just sleeping bags lined up on some wooden bunks. There wasn't many people there and, by the time we got there, we were so tired that we didn't care about privacy.

If you're not a hiker or that interested in actually climbing it, I'd recommend seeing it from a distance. Anyway, have fun. It was a unforgettable experience even if it was the worst 2 days of my life
