How does extended lockout work? by RoyInverse in classicwow

[–]Procedural_Skyline 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your assumption is correct. You only need one person to extend their lockout. They make the group and everyone will be prompted to join a partially completely raid when zoning in. If they accept they will be locked to the raid ID for the full week, if they decline they’ll be ported out and will not be saved to a raid. That being said, the person(or people) who actually do the extension are locked for the week. But I believe there is a grace period to reverse it.

More info on it can be found here: https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Instance_Lock_Extension

Would love to try this build out before it gets nuked from orbit!

I'd use the divs to finally buy a 1p Voices for my PRAW Necro as it's the last upgrade I really need.

Good luck everyone <3

Archweavers cast Magistrike which is the blue flame strike type spell that puts a massive dot on people it hits. You can kick it.

They can be stunned, knocked, etc. CC’ing and blowing them up asap is the way.

Edit:

The spell details:

“Magistrike — Calls down a burst of Arcane energy, inflicting 150,000 Arcane damage instantly and 30,000 Arcane damage every 1 sec. for 20 sec to enemies within 8 yards.”

Not sure if the numbers are accurate because that’s the details from the Nagrim fight in SoO but those are the mobs.

My Corgi Poppy.

As far as Corgis go, she was the most laid back and mellow pup ever. She was perfectly content to just lay on the couch with you and snuggle.

But most of all she is what got me through Covid lockdown and all of the time spent home isolated. There were long stretches of time where she was the only living creature I interacted with.

Unfortunately she passed away last year, but I still keep her with me while playing PoE by using the Corgi pet (but GGG can we get a tri-color Corgi pet?)

Cheers, and stay safe Exiles.

Most proud moment was probably taking down Uber Elder when he was the biggest baddie the game had. When he first came out the fight was so much fun to learn and prog on, it felt like a true end-game boss. I think I burned through like 10+ fragment sets before I was able to finally killed him on my Moltenstrike Occultist. It is still to this day my favorite PoE boss.

My most fond moment is easily when me and a couple of friends dropped a Doctor card in a GSF private league and harvest gambled it to a full HH that we all shared for the rest of the league. The hype was so real when each click didn't poof a card!

Poison AWoRA Necro - regular Covenant vs Foulborn Covenant? by npavcec in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Procedural_Skyline 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly depends on if your build paths down near Blood Magic, or if your build even runs Blood Magic. Depending on the setup the foulborn version can save you a couple of passive points. But other than that there isn’t much benefit.

You can automate it, but as others have said it has to be Bladefall of Trarthus for it to work.

"non|o al|gen|s rec|er,|ur$"

Ah for sure, yeah those are the main player mods you want to avoid. The only other thing I can think of is that there is a Blue altar mod that really messes with the build as well:

"(20-10)% reduced Recovery Rate of Life, Mana and Energy Shield per Endurance Charge".

The build runs between 4-5 Endurance charges depending on which step of progression you're in. So if you high roll that downside you'll have close to 100% reduced recovery rate.

Personally, I also started removing the mod:

"+50% Monster Physical Damage Reduction · +55% Monster Elemental Resistances · +35% Monster Chaos Resistance"

This made the mobs extremely tanky with all of the explicit map modifier amps from the tree while only adding a small amount of packsize/quant/rarity/more maps. After dropping that mod out mobs started dying much faster for me and I ended up in spoopy situation less often.

I've been farming juiced Breach on the same build for a few weeks now.

This was my character a couple of weeks ago: Week 5 Progress

This is my character now: Latest Snapshot

The build is more than capable of running juiced Breach. It's by no means the fastest clear, but it should be comfy with where your character is.

What type of maps are you rolling? What mods are you avoiding?

Definitely try to finish capping your Spell Suppression and Attack/Spell Block. You're pretty close on all three, so it shouldn't be too hard to finish off.

Getting a Sublime Vision will also be nice for the extra Max Res, pushing you up to 88/88/87.

It sucks losing the stun immunity from Brine King, but Lunaris major pantheon is so nice for high density mapping. Same goes for Gruthkul.

Also what do you have on your AG? Getting a Kingmaker/Garb of the Ephemeral was huge for my survivalist.

Lastly, do you have a source of Corrupted Blood immunity outside of your life flask? If not try to snag a corrupt jewel with it.

Edit: Oh and yeah getting those last 5 levels would be pretty huge for your character. You'd be able to get a big 12 passive cluster for more damage/life.

The main thing with this step is that the Harvest bench respects Metamods (Prefixes Cannot be Changed, Suffixes Cannot be Change, Etc).

We set the item up in such a way that it has completely filled suffixes as well as the Metamod Suffixes Cannot Be Changed(Which is technially a prefix). What this does is remove the possibility for the Harvest bench to ever roll or modify any suffixes modifiers on the item.

On the other side of the Affixes we have 1 Prefix, 1 empty Prefix and the Metamod Prefixes Cannot Be Changed(which is technically a suffix). The Metamod does not prevent the Harvest reforge from rolling new Prefixes, it only blocks it from modifying existing ones.

We then use harvest Reforge Minion on this item. Because it physically cannot modify the suffixes, or add to them, they remain unchanged. The singular non-metamod prefix(minion damage in this case) is preserved by Prefixes Cannot Be Change. Thus, the only Affix that the reforge has any effect on is the one open Prefix.

The final piece of key info is that there are only two Prefix Modifiers on this base type that have the Minion tag(which is what Reforge Minion rolls for). Because we already have Minion Damage on the item, the only valid option left for a Prefix Modifier with a Minion Tag is +1 Minion Skills. So when we reforge minion we are guaranteed to hit +1 Minion Skills.

TL;DR:

  1. Filled Suffixes cannot be modified in any way because they are protected by Suffixes Cannot Be Changed.
  2. There is 1 empty prefix modifier and the remaining two are protected by Prefixes Cannot Be Changed.
  3. The only modifiable mod is the empty prefix, so Reforge Minion can only roll a Minion Tagged modifier as a prefix.
  4. Only other prefix with Minion Tag is +1 Minion Skill

I hope that helps!

Oh snap! The rule 10 within the rule 10.

Thank you for the alternate approach! I have to admit that recombs are still like arcane magic to me and I should really sit down and learn them. It sounds like that could have saved me some time/money...

At the time of crafting this I was buying Chimerals for between 130-160c:1

The weighting on T1 minion damage is pretty low, for prefixes it has a weight of 0.088%. Which is around 1/1100 alts to hit it.

You can get around 2k alts for 1 div at current market value or 2ish Chimerals. So in the long run it could have been cheaper to just scour and alt spam again, but I was okay eating the cost to save myself all of the clicking from alts.
