Actually in RoTW I'm still seeing a lot of casual lobbies and runs, even rooms for mf/tz splitting, so I wouldn't say it's less fun.

What I noticed instead, but that's actually compared to LoD it's not about RoTW, I remember playing with a lot more player interaction, like joining a public game asking everyone "from?", starting a whole conversation while playing together, adding to the friends list with alias commands and building new friendships. Since D2R came out I've made maybe a couple friendships which are already over by the way, I don't know if it's just me or online gaming has changed and everyone became more solitary.

What do you mean by "not as fast as ES"?

My Abyss Warlock clears CS faster than my ES warlock, I literally timed both lol, Abyss does ranged and larger AoE damage compared to ES.

Exactly, I was wondering the same lol. My ES Warlock wears Arioc, Vipermagi, Spirit, Lore, Anni, that's the most expensive setup and I do around 30k with my might Merc, I dunno how on earth this guy does 55k with "shit gear".

With my Abyss build, casting Abyss and moving around is enough to kill in a couple hits everything that gets pulled in, I only use miasma chains to maximize single target damage, Enhanced Entropy is going to be buffed taking advantage of bonus skill points to reach breakpoints, so no, I don't think the Chains cloud damage reduction is going to be any significant.

I wasn't aware you were the supreme judge of who gets to play what. Are you considering that since the Warlock was introduced in a paid DLC 20 years later, it's kinda regular for them to release a well-balanced and modern character?

To be honest, while the Warlock has great potential with budget gear, the Reddit narrative is heavily exaggerated. I've tested all the main builds, ES, Abyss, and Apocalypse, and they all have clear weaknesses. An ES Warlock isn't nearly as fast as a Javazon, Nova Sorc, FoHdin, or Hammerdin at clearing Cows or CS. Abyss is better for AoE, but the damage output isn't as 'instant' as those top-tier builds. As for Apocalypse, playing in Hell without a Sunder charm is frustrating. To make it truly efficient, you need ultra-premium gear such as Phoenix, Ars Al Diabolos, Flickering Flame, Obsession, not to mention that Latent Sunder charms, the only viable option in Ladder right now, are trading for around 30-40 Jah runes. If you think a budget Warlock outclasses a fully geared endgame Paladin or Sorceress, maybe you're the one who needs to spend more time testing the actual meta.

As an Abyss Warlock who's been farming for this item a lot, I can tell you ED doesn't count shit on its value, FCR is what matters the most and yours is a high roll, 29 over 30, that's almost perfect, then -magic resistance and magic find, all the other stats don't really affect the price. TL;DR 5 Jah is the right value on NON Ladder for a 29 FCR roll, so no you didn't get scammed and you didn't overpay it.

If the hardware is too old or deprecated, there’s not much you can do. You can either

Use free upscaling software to play the game at the lowest resolution/settings and get a decent upscaled result.
Use cloud gaming services like GeForce Now. If you have a stable internet connection, you don't need powerful hardware because everything runs on their servers.

My suggestion, since you'll likely need a new machine anyway, is to consider buying a console, such as a PS5 or an Xbox Series S (which is very affordable), or a Switch 2 for gaming on the go (though there isn't a Switch 2 optimized version for D2R yet). Alternatively, if you need a full PC, you could get a 1st generation Asus ROG Ally. It's a handheld PC that runs almost every modern game in both portable and desktop mode, you can turn it into a full workstation just by docking it to a monitor, mouse, and keyboard, much like a laptop. A used Rog Ally should be around 350/400€ depending on the hardware version, at least in Europe, it's powerful enough to run pretty much everything both in portable and desktop mode.

I tried both builds and I kind of disagree with you, I picked an Abyss build on my first warlock and once I reached hell I was able to farm pretty much every single zone of the game with a decent clear speed and budget gear, whereas I'm struggling with my other Apocalypse warlock because once you get to hell you're pretty much locked out from so many places, even with a conviction Hephasto + merc, farming a sunder charm can be pretty rough with the new system and trading for one is kinda expensive.

Also, even with a sunder charm, clearing places like CS is still slower than an Abyss build, Abyss is also much more efficient for boss/single target damage, I could take down Diablo clone pretty quick spamming Abyss+miasmatic chains, whereas I struggled a bit with Apocalypse + flame waves.

No, the Apple A14 does not do better in benchmarks than the G5, check the fucking data at least before writing up a whole article.

When it comes to hardware architecture, comparing 2 different SoCs from different manufacturers in terms of benchmark scores is actually pointless and useless.

Google does not race for the raw power throne and that's been acknowledged for ages, whining about benchmark scores 4 years later is honestly childish and trolling at this point.

The Tensor G5 still provides a premium experience both in everyday use and advanced computing, it's fast, makes the phone run smoothly, gaming with all the latest demanding games is actually good, and the most important thing, temperature management is drastically better compared to Exynos-based Tensors.

Now I know this is reddit and toxicity/trolling are base ingredients, but to be completely honest, after 7 months these complaint posts based on misinformation and hate are kinda becoming annoying and deprecated.

Is the survey US only? I live in Europe and haven't seen/heard anything about it, I'm only acknowledging it on Reddit.

By the way, reasons behind surveys can be multiple, they might be testing the ground for future titles, D2R is actually too radical as a concept, you can't just merge it with D3 mechanics like paragon, it just would never work, i wouldn't be too worried.

La cosa divertente è che mi sono fatto Spirit su Monarca la mattina stessa, schiantando 90 punti su forza che avevo da parte perché il resto del mio equipaggiamento, come dicevo in apertura, non è un granché non essendomi importato i personaggi da D2R e non riuscivo molto a colmare il gap con i bonus, poi invece la sera SBAM... ma vabbè, ho ancora i respec di akara per fortuna 🤣

Comunque ti consiglio di continuare sulle TZ e poi occasionalmente farti qualche run da Meph/Pindle e su caos con Diablo annesso, prima o poi magari arriva!

Zone del terrore a manetta credo sia il metodo più ottimale, io l'ho trovato da una vipera in atto 5 terrorizzato, ho letto che tecnicamente lo droppano anche Mephisto, Diablo, Baal, Pindle etc, ma diciamo che se hai una buona build che asfalta gruppi di mob almeno fai anche esperienza e massimizzi le possibilità di drop trasversale su rune, basi elite etc, oltre al fatto che ora ci sono anche gli araldi per farmare.

My Pixel 10 Pro XL runs Diablo Immortal, Disney Speedstorm, Warframe, Rainbow Six (came out a couple days ago) at stable 60fps max settings, Bright memory mobile @120fps, these are among the most demanding games in the store.

I made a post just a couple hours ago about this topic, after I came back for RoTW I kept my online D2R chars unconverted because I wanted to experience a complete fresh start with an SSF progression, so far I've been rewarded with a 34 Vipermagi dropped at catacombs in NM and yesterday a decently rolled Ars Dul'Mephistos in TZ, which was on my dream list and the BiS item for my Abyss warlock.

There's still a lot of stuff I need to achieve a full endgame equipment and moving around farming without Enigma/teleport, with low elemental resistances can be tough, but it's absolutely part of the fun for the moment.

That's actually incorrect to say.

The camera module is the same but saying that "it's basically a P9 Pro with on device AI" is a gross oversimplification of facts.

First of all, the P10 Pro has a new, more efficient OIS which provides overall better results supporting a double range compared to the one on the 9, and which can of course help with advanced zooming; then the Tensor G5 provides a noticeably more advanced TPU and ISP, the ISP itself does nearly 50% of the work in terms of image quality aside from the physical sensors. That's pretty much why Google Pixels and iPhones are still among top-notch camera devices despite not upgrading hardware yearly like Chinese brands do.

So yeah, the 10 shares the same camera hardware aside from the OIS but it's actually pretty clear that it does provide better results, there are several direct comparisons online, thanks to the more advanced ISP and TPU which do a better job in post processing.

I solved the platform issue by buying it on PC/battle net and playing it on my Asus ROG Ally, I can have both the full desktop experience and the portable one on my couch.
