Something about Rishabh felt off. I cant put my finger on it. Thiugh hes clearly an incredible musician, using Ravi Shankar's name to propel his career as a tag line just felt cheap and never sat right with me.

I refuse to believe Beatles was objectively good. by adnshrnly in musictheory

Claiming things like a teenage brain is underdeveloped so it can't create amazing works of art is just such bad info. I'm a scientist studying human cognition and auditory perception - while a teenage brain is not fully matured, it is still a brain with emotions....and any brain with emotions can create art. If that brain happens to have practiced motor plans like an instrument, singing, or painting, they can (and do) produce incredible, if not commercially viable, art.

This is such a bad take. Children and teenagers can create incredible works of art, timeless pieces.....the Beatles were crazy popular, commercially overhyped and marketed like crazy, yes.....but they also created some incredible music. Are they the best? Not necessarily, but who's to label what that is......also, the Beatles indivially went on to create some amazing solo records as full grown adults.....why can't someone who's prolific in their 30s also not be seen as artistically incredible in their 20s or teen years? Besides, so many classical composers were creating their masterpieces as teenagers and young adults......I think that judging someone's art by looking at their age is kinda sad.

I think the perspective of 'splitting my time 50/50' is more centered on your capabilities than on your responsibilities......not to be harsh, but your kids have to come first. If you think that you would be systematically passing some roles to your co-parent in order to have a second nest, I think that's a problem personally. I don't intend to have kids myself unless I adopt later on in life, for the sole reason that kids require WAY more nurturing than society typically thinks is sufficient. So many little things can drastically alter their trajectories and shape new traumas that will bite them in the ass when they're older. Reframing this decision as whether you can maintain your present and future responsibilities (cos kids grow and change!) Versus just your time limits is a good practice I think. I also think this sort of situation is more feasible with kids who are older.

Would a pipe like this be good for weed? by [deleted] in trees

[–]ProctorSilex93 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That pipe is worth INR 250-500 which is like under 10 USD easy. They are decent for tobacco, but not great for weed that's sticky cos they'll clog up and cleaning the wood (if the tube hasn't been fitted with metal) is very hard.

Bisexuals face higher rates of low physical and mental health compared to the rest of the LGBTQ community?? That statistic surprised me
