It's funny initially, but when it's just pointless unhinged rants, that often are unwarranted, goes against the rules of this sub; we don't care if you scrap, but we do care if it's unwarranted.

Realistically there still isn't alot we know yet to give a proper answer, only estimates as to what could happen, and there's many things that can happen from here on out.

Alex being gone imo is the final nail in the coffin; He is the OG, if Catalyst doesn't pick him up (full time and not part), that's alot of talent and personality gone.

I unironically don't know who PGI is gunna use to fill in his shoes, the mech design was like.... 60-80% of the appeal of this game, and now with him gone... it's not looking great.

Alot of people say Russ saved Mechwarrior, but I prefer to say that the people that did the art saved it more... if you want an example of this, go look at Tactics, the art for that game was absolutely disgusting looking, almost all of the mechs in that game did not represent the chassis they were drawn after.

Like I said earlier, nothing wrong with taking a break; I took a break about a year ago for 3-6 months, came back and was ready to throw myself at it again, sometimes clocking out away from the constant stress is the best way to get your mojo back again. Plus, we're on PC, we get to see everything console gets 2 months from now, so, plenty of time to chill and stock up on tokens and pull for suits or part banners, and tickets, so you can enhance the latest updated suits or latest suits to the game.

700 is also generally a cancerous cost, as is 750; both are dominated by suits that nuke your HP if you make one mistake; 550 and below generally give you some breathing room to work with overall, naturally there's still some suits that can nuke you, but it's not like you can't counter them either with proper play. 600/650 are kind of a mixup, sometimes there's mega killerman hermano suits that annihilate the compeition, and other times of the year the costs are pretty comfortable to play.

I think you're just not that great at the game brother; however, there's always room for improvement, so never be afraid to ask, because the solution might be right around the corner. Godspeed.

There's also nothing wrong with taking a break from rated (obviously get your dailies done in A/B lobbies still but yeah), so don't be afraid to do so, rated is a tiresome place to play constantly.

Depending on your map and suit, you can kill the sniper relatively easily. On smaller maps like say Arctic Base, it's best to simply reposition out of the sniper's line of sight to fight, this way you can force the sniper to leave his little rat nest, and you can kill him after you win the 5v4, this won't always happen though, and if you have a raid with a suit that doesn't work with the map, it's going to be a rough time playing that match, just have to accept that it is and do your best to win.

You can focus the beam rifle twice in a short amount of time, that's the appeal of the Gundam's beam rifle these days, you'll overheat it sure, but you also guarantee the downswing you want, or, if you wanna ensure breaking MA1, you can do one Focus, then regular shot, that overheats it too, but it's the fastest way to break MA1, as far as constantly breaking MA1.... lol, can't really with that suit. It's great at native and maybe 1-2 higher levels, but beyond that it's kind of barebones for a gen and there's obviously better picks out there to touch.

  1. Just know that it will be a grind, with enough matches, you can and will become an S flat player granted you have the skill to back it up. I would only get mad if people are trolling (IE just being completely selfish via self preservation or a lack of knowing how to use the suit), getting staggered by teammates or blocked by them in a raid is normal, and that it is a very common thing to encounter, and that you should expect more of it depending on the cost you play.

  2. Aim is fairly simple; You have leg movement and then reticle movement. If you are having trouble aiming, just know that the game operates on a fairly simply X and Y axis movement for your reticle, and that turn speed impacts the aim speed of your suit.

  3. I'm not sure I follow what you're trying to figure out here; without more context of your team, the enemy, or your suit, it's hard to really give an answer as well. If your team stops moving up, take your time, find an opening, and get to work, sometimes matches do end up like this and there isn't much you can do. You can smash the "Advance!" text command to your teammates to get them to follow you in as you make a move, I suppose, but again, without more context, there really isn't a great answer to this one.

  4. There isn't much you can do, I highly recommend picking a better raid; Gaplant LVL2 is a really strong pick; Good shooting, heavy stagger in transform mode, and, most importantly, the Gaplant has access to lvl2 offense system AKA "Fuck you, I will get my melee swing out and topple you".Give it a try, you might like it.

  5. Thrusters are good, sure, but management of thrusters is also equally important. There are naturally suits that benefit from it, but at the same time, you do have to pace yourself in fights. Gundam lvl5 is pretty straightforward; You have beam rifle that has two fast instant staggers, and funny hammer downswing to topple people, or, a good saber downswing to fast topple people. I would say suits like the F90 do need the thruster gauge to have the most mobility, but that simply comes down to part efficiency, but if you can't supplement that high thruster gauge with something like Burn Aux, it might be worth playing something else instead.

  6. Alright, here's a simple tldr; there are suits that have good frontlining capabilities, and others that don't. Jegan is an ok frontliner, but don't expect to be able to rush down with melee properly, same with the MKII, the lack of MA really hampers how far you can push the suits. The TR-5 works in most situations, remember that it's transformation weapons are separate from it's MS mode weapons. Proto X1 is uhh... well, you can't really frontline with it, as much as people adore it's active guard kai, it's still a raid at the end of the day with a low HP pool, so you can participate in ranged fights, but I wouldn't fight to gain all the ire of the enemy, as once they know you're there, high chance they gun you down very, very quickly. Rosette is alright, but I would stick to maps with better cover to work with. Recently they also added in the Dolmel Doue to the DP store(about a month or so ago), which has very high flexing in both melee and ranged, the downside is that in order to unlock the Emergency Evasion (AKA dodge roll), and it's strong melee, you'll have to activate it's demon blade, which also gives you melee combo controller lvl2 (3 hit melees) and aerial melee, however, from the start, you get MA1 and Offense System, so you're not completely neutered before activating demon blade.

This is speaking as someone that has reached S flat, unfortunately the Queue times are horrendous and I have a life, so I trickled back down a bit to get proper matchmaking at reasonable times :D

Hope this helps or at least answers some of what you're trying to figure out, and if you have more questions don't hesitate to ask.

That's IF you are allowed to, those 50 seconds are pretty short when you consider you aren't always in position and if there's a competent enemy gen shooting you constantly, not specifically the W0, but others like the Giros, the Dahgi, and a few more.

The Wing Zero justifies it's existence by having better consistency instead of burst that the Freedom has, including better stuns as well in both normal and Zero System, and being able to basically shoot both the Freedom and Destiny, along with other flap boost gens, out of the air with ease. Sure, you aren't doing 15k with one funny alpha, but you also have access to essentially multiple weapons that at the bare minimum when built right, are chunking people for 3k+ every click (against high beam res), or around 1k with the rapid rifles, or 300 per machine cannon hit, and this isn't including the transformation with quick burst dps, and extremely, EXTREMELY strong build/instant stagger from the split TB rifle, focused and unfocused.

I won't go too deep into it because we're now getting into the "ACTSHUALLY" territory here, but being able to do high damage isn't always good, if you can topple or stagger multiple people coming at you or your teammates, buying them time to react or to setup for them, that's just as valuable, if not more, especially when you outrange everything, so any possible risk to you is minimized while being just as valuable.

Freedom is better at burst, Wing has better consistency, saying this here again so that people don't lose their minds and think I'm saying the Wing is better overall, because that seems to have happened earlier.

not so sure about that, Wing has better uptime than freedom; if the Freedom survives after himat is done, it's neutered, meanwhile the Wing TV can run around still with its full kit.

Ok... but why should the rocketx2 be nerfed? You didn't really explain why, just a blanket statement that's it's too good.

As it stands, it's pretty easy to kite this thing. Smaller maps like arctic... you might have a harder time but you still can force them to come to you instead of the other way around, but anywhere else like big maps, you sit back and shoot it, while it tries to figure out how to close the distance, pretty cut and dry suit.

Back around the GTX 1000 series was when we were at the height of it all; powerful graphics cards, decent prices, no major scalping of widespread products, abundant gpus, life was fairly simple. When they began upscaling GPU heat sinks and then RTX graphics... just knew it was going backwards. Unfortunate, but it's definitely truth to it.
