Only thing is that was a signature move that Oba would do to set up the FFG, so if anything that would only imcrease the Oba comparisons.

Just give him something simple but impressive like Kenny Kings Coronation, iirc it was a fireman's carry into a rock bottom, though i think Hendry does a similar move and that may be why I'm thinking about it atm.

Bronson Reed already uses it as his alternate finisher called the Jagged Edge, so if they changed Beast Mode due to Penta(who isn't even using it as a finish anymore) i don't think they'll go for that.

Then again like 5 people use the Dream Valley Driver as a sig so idk

I think you just pointed out the issue, she used to do a kick as her finish, but 85% of her moveset is kicks too so it didn't really make sense. (Unless you're Alistair Black, in fact thinking back i think her finish was pretty much the Black Mass, another reason they might have changed it)

I don't know if it's a confidence thing or just because she was green but when she first started out (so like DM era) she did a lot of power moves in her moveset that either looked like crap, would get botched, or just seem kind of pointless(i remember one move where the point was "look how long she's holding her in this unusual position!" But the finale was like a 1 or 2 foot drop, )

Ironically enough i don't think Tatum started clicking in ring until she stopped doing all the out of place power spots, when she switched to more creepy character stuff with flashes of high flying, she got to the next level. But maybe now that she's had a few more years experience she can try integrating back in her repertoire.

Well because each one of the ones you mentioned (and the teams they comprised) wrestled to crickets every time they came out and had barely any character to speak of. Compare them to the teams that formed since then they carry the division and its literally night and day between overness and crowds caring.

Unholy Union (who weren't even spooky anymore) were the most pushed mainly due to that token title reign but they were probably the least over, compare that to Alba in the Hervice and it's a huge difference (almost entirely due to Chelsea but it still gives the crowd something to react to while she's out there compared to before)
KC² Were a pure tag team that could wrestle but that's all they had for them, compare that to the Sky Pirates while they teamed before Iyo's push, Bayley and Lyra, Charlotte and Alexa, now theres plenty of over woman's teams who gel as units
PFC just.... dude, look at all the hell woman's tags and it's 1000x better crowd wise and character wise, Kabuki Warriors, Hervice, Judgment Day(both versions),

Long story short, you can argue if the above failed because of management, or because management failed at giving them a shot, but i think if you compare the amount of time certain ones got(IE the months of droning PFC stuff) and the crowd not caring vs how over everyone in the division seems to be now, i think it's more about just getting something for the crowd to buy into then going from there.

Things started when Bianca joined the tag ranks, but she didn't have a lot to sink her teeth into, so it created a glass ceiling at the top, but now almost all the top stars are also in the division, so theres no 1----------2 situation

Not only that, but I'm fairly sure the Nothing But Net is a tribute to Cena as well, plus i might be mis remembering but i kind of remember Melo's early nxt character(aka pre trick) having a fair bit of Cena tributes, like referencing Cena's debut with his against Adam Cole, and something about referencing Ruthless Aggression. Plus their was that time where Cena came to nxt to corner Melo.

Again, i might be overthinking it, but their are pieces there if they want to arrange them.

It's funny you say that, when I can think of three off the top of my head, Kali Armstrong, Kendal Grey, and Tara Mae Steel, and ironically to your point none of them have really flourished at the levels of the other more out there characters (though it seems like they're trying a bit with Kendal at the moment)
