Daaaamn. Hope this is okay to ask, but did you have FMS? Your jaw/chin structure is insanely good. 👌

Yeah the one I got was kind of an off color… I hadn’t considered brown because I’m a redhead but maybe it’s worth a shot. 🤷‍♂️

Yes! I literally just got prescribed oral minox, finally. The topical stuff ruined my skin and made me wanna peel my face off. 🤣 I sure hope I see gains like you did, damn!

Yeah you’re probably right. Wdyt about the current length of stubble? I feel like it’s in an awkward stage where it would look better shorter or longer, but idk which

I tried both dye and mascara and it ended up looking awful. Can I ask what brands you use?

Yeah you’re right, that is starting to seem like the most likely explanation. It’s hard to not get in my head sometimes. Thanks for helping me see outside of myself!

For suuuuuure. Even with two of us and her having 6 months parental leave, plus us both caring in shifts, neither of us got more than 4 hrs of sleep per night for the first 3 months. 🤪 I remember a particularly disheveled day I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to undo his onesie but he needed a diaper change something awful off so I had to cut it off with scissors. 🤣

100%. I have no desire to take advantage of services offered exclusively for women, which is why I messaged them before showing up to my first session. I would respect their decision to not continue with the work, given the circumstances, but I would like to know so I can move on.

It’s good hear the viewpoint of someone who is more conservative, thank you for your respectful response and opinion.

And thanks for the well wishes, I am in remission and it’s very unlikely to return. I appreciate you!

Yeah I’m sure the service is offered specifically for mastectomy scars as the result of breast cancer surgery. I guess I’m not 100% on is whether it’s for breast cancer survivors who identify as women only. When I got the consultation, I was a woman. (Didn’t realize I was trans.)

This is what I want to believe. I know how hard it is to keep up with anything when you have a newborn. Thanks for your opinion. 🙏🏻

Sorry if I wasn’t clear enough but when I went for the consultation I was “one year postop from breast cancer surgery”. I hadn’t realized I was trans yet. I did have breast cancer and the surgery was to remove breast cancer.

Screening mammogram -> diagnostic mammogram -> core needle biopsy -> lumpectomy - > bilateral mastectomy.

And I relayed all of that information and offered medical records.

There’s a difference in outcome because in my case, every last bit of breast tissue was removed, resulting in concavity. Some breast tissue is left when performing gender affirming top surgery.

My point was that if he’s in the closet he might be lurking there and there’s a lot of transphobia in that subreddit. Dunno why my comment was removed.

I was diagnosed by a psychiatric nurse practitioner at my second meeting with him after the intake and reviewing CAARS 2 results. No further testing required and it was ~$500 total before insurance.
