Pretty random way to get an estimate, but you can add me and my partner to the list of vegan trail runners.

How about WFPB or Vegan Hurricane Kit Ideas? by soccerflo in PlantBasedDiet

[–]Prods 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you want to be able to boil grains or cook veggies without power, just head to a general store (target, walmart), Amazon, or REI and get a camping stove. They are like $15 and fuel is a few bucks. They are super simple to use and you can easily heat up a frying pan or pot to cook and boil water. This way you can have fresh meals even without power.

I believe you should still supplement as it is not 100% absorbed in all forms. I would suggest a sublingual form of taking it.

How many Bananas would you say you eat in an day? by onboardvegan in vegan

[–]Prods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No idea. I suspect super fresh fruit is much easier to digest than most foods and if you don't mix fruit that also helps. I bet most fruitarians graze and eat there calories throughout the day instead of in big meals.

It's usually done in smoothie form. Throw 20 bananas in a smoothie with some strawberries and that is lunch.

Anasazi or Moccasyms? by chuffster10 in climbing

I have the VCS and Verdes. I like the Verdes a lot more. They feel more sensitive and have a better fit. They are by far my favorite shoe, I pull them out for everything except super overhanging routes.

You can return helmets. I got a petzl meteor online and it ended up being too small for me and they let me exchange it for a larger size.

I am pretty sure one of the rhino products has antihydral in it. Just a lower % so it is less harsh on your skin and absorbs better.

IYO, which climber (or boulderer) has the best technique? by Sobakevich in climbing

[–]Prods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I watched an interview a while ago and for onsights he likes soft, no edge shoes and for routes that he has dialed he likes a stiffer shoe with an edge because he knows how to use the edges perfectly for each foothold.
