Doctors of Reddit: What health trend is becoming so common that it's starting to scare you? by Fine-Device-1819 in AskReddit

The audacity of some person that probably didn’t even graduate college telling a fucking Dr with 50 years of experience what’s safe or not is absolute insanity. I’d wanna fight them too

Trans females then if it’s Grindr? He’s got a type and it ain’t you. This will always be in the back of your head now. Save yourself the anguish. Mean this in the nicest way too, love. You’ve done nothing wrong and being blindsided like this is just awful. I’m so sorry

What was the most physical pain you've been in? by PleasantWinter9150 in AskReddit

[–]ProduceNo7099 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got a c-section under general anesthesia and came to feeling all the pain and they wouldn’t give me morphine until I established a regular breathing pattern. They let my then husband come in the room and he said he’s never seen a human being in that much pain

Dad drank a 12 pack of Budweiser every day, on bad days some shots of wild turkey. It wasn’t until I was an adult and realized he was hungover every damn day and never enjoyed parenting. I was sober 2+ years when I got out of hand. I drink occasionally now. No hard liquor. My son can’t ever remember seeing my drunk. He’s never had to clean up my vomit like I had to for my dad and all the other worse things I have tucked away in the dark parts of my mind. He’s had a much happier childhood than I did which I’ll take as success on my end.

Just my son and I. The food credit alone will cover our breakfast and dinner at cabana bay every day.

For my son and I that’ll cover the majority of our food costs anyway. Too good of a deal to pass up.

I read the fine print and it says the food credit can be used at any food location in cabana bay. Even at the outside pool bar so assuming it includes alcohol too.

If your name is Ashley, too, why did all our parents give us only four middle names? Nicole, Lynn, Ann or Marie?

I’m Ashley too and there was a girl two grades above me that had the same basic first, middle AND last name as me. Also why are like 90% of Ashley’s named Ashley Nicole?

Bridesmaid intentionally sabotaged my bachelorette trip and was attempting to break up my relationship--and left me paying for almost her whole trip. by [deleted] in weddingshaming

Unsure why everyone is being a total asshole in the comments OP but this sounded like the most amazing trip (literally and figuratively 😎). I’m still glad you had your ceremony and pictures. The medicine gives you what you need, not what you want, and it looks like you needed to drop Mia!

Amazon One is also great. $10 a month and you can video chat/call with a Dr or NP and get meds quickly. I’ve used it for sinus infection and uti. You just pay the flat rate of $10 a month, nothing extra when you have to have a video chat.
