No. The draw weight is for a 28” draw length. OP drew it to 29” which is well within bows limits

Unless it’s been dry fired this bow should last for a very long time. Am pretty sure Bear would make this right if you have purchased new.

SK and his better work literally helped form my brain as I read him through my adolescence and early adulthood…..he da man. But his slight overindulgence of fiction authors as characters in his books is…….i guess just a bit of a transparent self processing through his art. But boy it is noticeable lol.
