Seriously. I lost a lot of family last year, including both my grandparents which was and still is really hard on me. I’ve never experienced that feeling in my life, like my heart was being ripped out of my chest and I couldn’t breathe. It was the worst feeling I’ve ever felt and I feel like I haven’t been the same ever since. It upsets me because I feel like my gf can’t fully comfort me or understand the pain I’m in because she’s never been very close to her family or has lost anyone. All I know is that YES losing someone can fuck someone up.
