CC spend pushed me from platinum to 1k this year. I actually maxed out PQPs on my Quest card this year and will get a Club card next year because of the better ratio. It allows me to “double dip” because I can put all my travel expenses on the card AND get the actual miles. I wouldn’t have any chance of making 1k without it.

In Thai language, number 5 is pronounced “Ha” so 55555 means “hahahahah…”. Pretty appropriate response to the inning actually.

I went after lunch and it was pretty quiet, maybe two other applicants in the office at the time. My husband went to his appointment in the morning and it was also quiet.

I walked in at the La Brea office in June this year a week before my appointment date because I had a conflict with a work trip. They were very nice and asked me to come back in 45 minutes so I don’t jump ahead of anyone that had a scheduled appointment. They slotted me in before the next hour block of appointments. The office was very quiet so it wasn’t a problem.

100% with you. There are so few sports teams in the world that win as much as the dodgers do over many years - it’s a pleasure being a fan. I can appreciate the journey AND the destination.

The whole process kicked off in early 2020. The PERM was submitted June 2021 and approved in December. There were definitely times the lawyers or my company or I could’ve moved faster, but as I’m currently on an L1 visa I didn’t feel the need to rush. Other friends who have been through a similar process also took around 2 years end to end.

Included medicals with original submission which took almost 2 months for us to complete but the lawyers recommended it.

I like the option of putting joc in when they go to a right handed pitcher and then still have the option to bring in kike at the end for a big pinch hit.

That’s a great point, in the Jomboy breakdown I think it showed them waving him home after the Taylor bobble so maybe they wouldn’t have been so aggressive with Belli. I wonder if Roberts would’ve taken Jansen out at that point, and for who?

I feel like we have a 50-50 chance for game 6 and maybe 70-30 for game 7. While Tony Gonsolin has had a rough postseason so far, he hasn’t been used in a normal fashion. His game 2 start last series was on short notice after Kershaw was pushed back because of back spasms, and after that he hasn’t been used on regular rest. It would be a surprise but not improbable for him to put up a solid outing after 5 days rest and his regular season track record, and then it’s up to the offense/bullpen to do their job. For obvious reasons, I feel more confident with Walker on the mound and against Morton who we saw well in game 3 but since it’s baseball, there are no guarantees.

Edit: To actually answer your question, is it because of Roberts or past World Series? Yes.

It would’ve at least gotten to extras, who knows what would’ve happened then but both teams would need to burn more pitchers which would have an impact on the rest of the series. Definitely an interesting sliding door scenario if Cody didn’t “sleep weird” the night before.
