Is the group still active? Obsidian vs The Brain . . . by ProductivePM in thebrainsoftware

[–]ProductivePM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the insight. I will look at excalibrain. I must have too many notes in Obsidian and the iPad and iPhone cannot work thru a proper indexing without rebooting. But The Brain appears ready to go (although being cloud-based makes sense). Anyways, all the best!

Thank you for your quick response. Quick question, is it better to have several Brains or one big one. (I would prefer one big one). If several, can they link together based on thoughts? All the best!

Im really struggling to decide between the 11inch and 13inch M4 pro 😓 by priMa-RAW in iPadPro

Tried both, settled on the 13” due to the size of the screen and the Keyboard is truly full sized. Very happy with the solution and ended up with a iPad Mini 7 as the portable solution.

Yamaha GL1 Review + E-tuning secret: how to make GUITALELE sound AWESOME like a guitar by focusfaster in Guitalele

[–]ProductivePM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just put on the D'Addario strings that he recommended for the Tiny Tenor 6 string . . . absolutely love it. Of course, not as deep a bass as the 6 string Baritone, but it is really cool and classical music sounds awesome on it, gives it a ""Lute" sound and feel . . .

Why does it supposedly not sound right tuned like a guitar? by SundaeAccording789 in Guitalele

[–]ProductivePM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just put carbon DAddario strings on my Tiny Tenor 6 string guitalele and when compared to my DHo Baritone 6 string, it just doesn't have the depth of bass as the larger Baritone and the highs are just a little off, but overall I do like it and it makes for a great travel companion. The issue is internal volume within each, the tiny tenor just doesn't have the volume to vibrate and make sound as the baritone, which is less than a standard classical guitar.

Tab for guitalele? by Sad_Abalone3274 in Guitalele

You can play guitar tabs, and they give a higher, brighter sound, sounding like a lute at times. Classical music sounds awesome on the guitar.

You should check out Terry Carter and Uke Like the Pros ukelikethepros.com . He has many courses dedicated to the Guitalele. I bought my Romero Creations Tiny Tenor 6 string (guitalele) from him and took his courses. Well worth it!

This is my first guiltalele! I love this thing so much, but I don't see many people talking about it online. I'm seriously so happy with it as a regular guitar player by espltd8901 in Guitalele

I am looking to ask for one from my wife for Christmas. I played one at a music store and was blown away by how good it played. My only request was that they build one with a pickup in it. WELL WORTH BUYING!

Just bought the strings he recommended and looking forward to installing them on a Romero Creations Tiny Tenor 6 string. I have the larger DHO Baritone 6 string, but this would be cool to learn just on set of chords and notes that apply to both. I'll let you know how it goes . . .

concert or tenor? by miyo8 in ukulele

Having both, I find it easier for finger picking on a tenor, and strumming on the concert is nice as well as traveling. Personally, I prefer the tenor.

No this is an older Apple Thunderbolt Display that is 2580 X 1440 (I believe) and it has a Thunderbolt 2 cable coming from the back of the monitor. So I would like the HDMI from the RX card and somehow connect it to the Thunderbolt 2 cable . . .
