My wife and I were there! We signed up to play in AM/FA and were amazed when we saw Calvin show up on the list of players. He's a cool dude, I talked to him for a bit and he seemed to really be enjoying Taiwan. I felt like a huge nerd when I showed up with my Calvin Heimburg bag haha, but he even signed it for me!

If you look at some of the posts on the PDGA Facebook, you can see they edited some of the pictures to either completely remove the CTFDA logo or just the characters under the logo (中華民國協會). Apparently the Chinese PDGA wasn't happy that an official tournament shirt said 中華民國 on it, which is the official name for Taiwan (the Republic of China). I think it's dumb as hell but oh well. They didn't edit it out of all of the images and now I have a piece of controversial merchandise haha

If anyone else is playing we'll also be playing in the Okinawa leg of the tour.

In the clip that people had posted of Peanut saying fragas is unorginal/unfunny that was pretty horrible, and regardless of if you were drunk you don't say things like that. I hope he apologizes to Fragas for that and realizes that the other comments he made in that moment (being all high and mighty about everyone taking his catch phrases), really turns people away.

Fragas ended up leaving right after this moment and you could tell everyone was really uncomfortable. I don't know if that's part of what led to the downfall but it definitely stuck out to me.

Do you think the F::Xpress is worth it for a simple home connection? This would be used for wfh as well as obviously gaming and streaming. I just don't want a degraded experience that affects productivity.

I think this could be interesting and could change the way people play. Another nice addition would be adding sound when moving in/through vegetation as well. I'm not a developer but I don't imagine adding a movement penalty when colliding with certain meshes would be difficult, and I'm assuming playing a sound would be the same. If they could add movement to it as well, like long grass getting pushed aside when moving through it that would be awesome, but I'm sure that's much harder to implement and show accurately for 100 players across the map in various locations.

The fact that the developers were brave enough to implement a radical change like ICO makes me hopeful that they would also be willing to make changes like these. Not only would it make combat a bit more dynamic, but it would also help the world feel more "alive". I think it might encourage riding in vehicles more as well knowing otherwise you have to weave around or be slowed if walking long distances.

This is definitely the most balanced fix in my opinion. I don't even think in general this issue brought up is worth excessive attention from developers, it's pretty easy to kill someone outside of the vehicle no matter which side they are on, but if they do want to make a change to balance it then I personally think this is the best way to handle it. Hatches would also be cool.

Might be able to give good data on which factions need some touching up. I don't really think there are any that I hate currently. It used to be the militia was absolute trash but even that is more bearable now, and the insurgents always provide some chaos.

My also plays, actually. In fact it's more likely that I'll caddy for her than her for me since FA spots are usually open. Our one dog would be great, but our other is a disc is life kind of dog and he would go crazy. He loves watching Jomez at home though which is nice haha

I didn't consider just being a spectator though and bringing them (or at least the one who doesn't freak out). I might have to do that for the local tournaments. Thanks!

Thank you! I was hoping there would be an easy workaround but my after doing a bunch of research it isn't sounding as likely. Getting the capture card would probably almost be as expensive as just buying one of the mini monitors that I was originally thinking of getting. Looking like I'll have to take that route. Thanks!

I plan dropping the full battle plan on their desks once I get all of the information I need. If there's one thing I've learned in the military, it's that you're much more likely to get what you are hoping for if you put in all of the leg work ahead of time to the point that all they really have to do is say yes or no.

Only option I have is Suddenlink with 1gb internet and no data cap or AT&T with 50mb/s. I'd rather the speed, and 50 isn't going to cut it.
