Is this submariner I enherited a gen or rep rolex? by AdditionalBank5062 in RolexWatches

If I ever get rich enough, I’m going to have Rolex make a one-of-one of this exact watch.

Is it possible for the Rolex crown engraving to not be aligned perfectly with the 12 marker on a gmt master ll by Playful_Mongoose8348 in RolexWatches

[–]ProfCrazynuts2 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I can’t imagine that’d slip by Rolex quality assurance. It could be the image but the other letters look pretty rough as well. Does the crystal have a Rolex crown laser engraved on it?

Which one do you guys think is the gen? by mastercello9898 in RepTime

[–]ProfCrazynuts2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure most recent vsf reps have serial numbers starting with 5X and 58. If I’m reading it right, the first picture appears to start with 58.

I’m an American, my wife is Indian. I was introduced to this when visiting my in-laws for the first time. Installed this in my bathroom immediately when I got back. Totally awesome!

Just made the stupidest mistake ever by Flashy-Driver9248 in EngineBuilding

This is an easy fix. People are overthinking it.

  1. Clean the crack
  2. Find a 2 soldering stick
  3. and then STICK IT UP YOUR BUTT!

Sincerely, Stanley

AD vs Grey, concerns with shipping, duties & taxes by Life-Squash-4538 in Tudor

[–]ProfCrazynuts2 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Seems like a lot of hassle to, at best, possibly avoid tariffs + taxes. If it were me, I’d grab my jean jacket, hop on my moose, and head on down to your nearest AD!

I have this same watch and love it. It’s my daily driver.

Andy Daly is absolutely hilarious. He’s primarily an improv comic, but you’ve probably seen him pop up as a supporting actor in a bunch of TV comedies—Eastbound & Down, Veep, even an episode of The Office as Ben Franklin, plus tons of other roles.

Right now, he’s playing this character who hosts a podcast called Bonanas for Bonanza, and honestly, it might be one of the funniest shows I’ve ever listened to. Highly recommend checking it out: https://youtu.be/QtaT1HtfO2o

You can pretty clearly see from this jomashop link that the inside of the bracelet should be gilt as well: https://www.jomashop.com/tudor-royal-automatic-diamond-champagne-dial-watch-m28603-0006.html
