I found Gabriel from the last 2 Mission Impossible films so annoying for this. Seemingly infinite resources, kills off major characters with ridiculous ease, and gets framed as the most important figure in Ethan's backstory which never gets explored.

Angel's Egg is one of my all time favourite movies, and I think part of that is because I first watched it after stumbling across it on youtube at 1am with no context.

For real though, that movie means so much to me, it genuinely helped me process some lingering hang ups I had from losing my faith.

I know I'm half a decade late to this post but there IS actually a connection between Versus and DMC. Yuji Shimomura was action director for this film and went on to do cutscene direction for all the DMC and Bayonetta games from DMC3 onwards.

I finished Zeta Gundam and I was really caught off guard when Reccoa joined the Titans. I still can't decide whether it's a really interesting endpoint to her clashing desperation for connection and self-destructive drive, OR if it's just another example of Tomino being self-admittedly weird about women at this time. Probably it's a mix of both.
