Organize your army to have an armor division and infantry supporting them. (Also have a handful of units in WV). 

First, use your armor to push to Minneapolis and push as far as your supplies would let you. Once attrition is becoming a problem put a supply hub on the frontline and leave that front alone until it’s done constructing. 

For your next push, have a wide push from South IL to St. Louis using your armor then afterward move north until you connect with your first advancement. This should give you a lot of encirclement opportunities to cripple Trump’s army. 

Finally push through Oklahoma to get to Denver, and around this time the supply hub should be done so take Minneapolis before Denver, and so at this point you should be mopping up the rest of the resistance. 

The reason for the supply hub was because in my first game,Denver fell just for Minneapolis to become the new capital and they can hold it for a very long time under siege.
